    Great hotel, great location.

    rating03 May 2026

This is a great hotel in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere and the nearest eateries were all good. There was a good gondola route nearby that was quiet and reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had an economy room, but it was authentic and perfectly fine for our 3-night stay. Breakfast catered for all tastes and was set up in the lovely conservatory area overlooking the beautiful garden. This was an oasis of calm to relax in during a busy itinerary. The brand new mattress was very firm for us personally and they found a softer topper. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Definitely worth booking this little gem!

    rating30 Apr 2026

Lovely hotel - great location (so easy to find once we got off the water taxi from the airport), staff friendly, lovely fresh foods (meats/cheeses/fruits/ pastries etc) for breakfast. We were on the third floor and the bedroom was quirky with low beams but great space, comfy bed and bathroom was spotless. Would definitely recommend this hotel as an ideal base when in Venice, and if I was to return I’d happily rebook.

    A wonderful stay!

We are here at the moment, leaving tomorrow morning unfortunately and have enjoyed a wonderful short break in Venice! Sitting in the beautiful garden of the hotel writing this review and have no complaints whatsoever. Both the rooms we have used during our stay have been beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Perhaps some rooms might be overly warm in the summer if they do not have air conditioning but not a problem now at all! The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful and would definitely return. Would certainly recommend 😊👍

    Thieves!

    rating01 Jan 2026

Sant'Antonin, Venice In one word: Thieves!!I recently stayed at the Sant'Antonin hotel in Venice, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The rooms were cramped and furnished with uncomfortable even foldable beds, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep specially after a long transatlantic flight. Instead of adequate sleeping arrangements, multiple beds were piled into a single room, which contributed to the overall discomfort. Ironically this room was offered to us as an "upgrade". The views from the rooms are disappointing. I know not every hotel has a scenic Venetian landscape, but in this rooms you will face a wall , and even the suites have views that looked directly at the roof of the breakfast area that covered the garden they mention to promote themselves. The décor is very odd, even featuring old toilet chairs🤮 rather than anything that might add charm or character. They have their storage and cleaning stuff before entering " the suite" 🥴But the worse HUGE issue are the front desk staff , who seemed unable to answer basic questions or provide proper assistance. Instead, the manager Elena was just focused on overcharging guests rather than on delivering quality service. We paid TRIVAGO for a 2 room stay with an EXTRA charge for breakfast per day for each of us., but at heck out in the hotel Elena FORCED us to pay for breakfast uagain!!!🤬 even mocking us about the amount we paid TRIVAGO, as the more than $1500 we paid for 4 days was to little!! The manager or maybe owner Elena, cynically claimed that since Trivago takes a big commission from them , they deserved to be paid EXTRA , AGAIN!!! , even for my father's breakfast 👉🏻 Who didn't even go!!! !!. Remarkably, they refused to refund even a single euro for the unused room that resulted from his absence as well! Leaving the hotel was LITERALLY a cynical robbery, and we were left with few options: we could go into a big argue, call the police, or simply leave to catch our next flight to a new destination. What would you have done if you are just there to enjoy and give good memories to your kids? Argue with clear stupidity and cynical abuse? Or pay not to do so and loose even more money on other train, car rental an hotel reservations ? The level of exploitation experienced was astonishing, and I would argue that even a petty thief in the street is more honorable than the people running this establishment. They do not deserve even a single star. They shouldn't exist!! Places like this create a significant challenge for city growth and the experience of visitors. Travelers who find themselves in such situations feel powerless and lack viable alternatives. Major corporations like Hilton and a big etcetera of well know hotels , provide far better guarantees , and it's disheartening to see local businesses that fail to meet basic standards. Supporting local establishments is not an option for us anymore!! Sorry for the nice ladies in the breakfast area, but supporting Robery is not an option for anyone!! Therefore, I highly recommend in Venice to be safe and choose the large hotel corporations that can support you rather than these small hotels with big thieves who don’t even care a bit about the well-being of one of the customers they cynically overcharged even knowing he is an elder person who couldn't attend for health issues and after losing his wife . All they care about is threatening you to pay money, money and more Fmoney!! Truly Disgusting!

What a delightful hotel! We stayed here at the end of November and upgraded our room, which was well worth it.The Room - Very clean, with mini bar and hot drink refreshments. Massive super king bed, with an amazing balcony that looked over Venice. There were 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with toilet and bathroom.Toiletries provided, with slippers.Breakfast- Lovely continental breakfast, with so much choice and coffee made fresh. The lady who worked in there was so lovely and friendly.Hotel- This gem of a hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle, it had quite streets. The main square is about a 20 minute walk and everything is so accessible. The hotel is clean and very well presented.Staff - This hotel has the friendliest and helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble. We asked them lots of questions and they always helped. They all work very hard.Overall this hotel is a must. We will be back as we loved it so much. Thank you for making it all so special.
