Hotel Santo Stefano is a charming small hotel in a prime location in Venice. Campo Santo Stefano is one of the larger open spaces in Venice and is easy to get to from the train station via vaporetto and a little walking. My room faced the campo and was furnished in a low-key Venetian style. The front desk people were invariably helpful and friendly. If the weather is pleasant you can take breakfast at tables outside, or you can eat in the small eating area inside. Breakfast selection was good, with breads, fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, coffee (self-service machine) and juices. Also pastries. This was my second time staying here, first was 39 years ago. This place is a bit of local color. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel with the best service and location!

Beautiful small boutique hotel with warm and friendly staff, who helped us with restaurant recommendations and anything we needed. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious enough and well air-conditioned. Breakfast was absolutely amazing; delicious and lots of different options from sweet to savory. Location is great.

Fabulous boutique hotel in a perfect location. On arrival greeted by balloons, platter of fresh fruit and Prosecco on ice! This is a special birthday trip though. Currently staying here in room 3 overlooking the square and it’s just a beautiful hotel. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is great with eggs cooked to your liking so highly recommend. Check in is at 2 and check out at 11 so that’s a very good positive. We leave tomorrow but will definitely return here. One of the best hotels we have stayed.

We stayed in hotel Santo Stefano last weekend and would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice, who is looking for a great location and excellent value for money. The rooms are compact but not too small and a big plus are the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The Campo Santo Stefano has some great terraces for drinks or dinner, and all the highlights, as well as the Alilaguna ferry from the airport into town are within easy walking distance.

He noticed our fatigue and graciously carried our luggage up three flights of stairs, instantly making us feel welcome.His recommendations were spot-on, guiding us to a lovely restaurant that showcased incredible service and delicious cuisine.While the hotel may be small, the modern showers were a delightful surprise, perfectly blending comfort with style.This hidden gem in Venice is a perfect blend of charm and convenience, making our stay truly memorable.
