    A perfect home for your stay in Venice

    Hotel Saturnia & International offers value, warmth and charm in equal measure. It does this with the high quality blend of its people, its fabric and its location. This is our fifth visit and we can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we come to Venice. It’s People: being family run, you get a real sense of the closeness of staff to the customers and their experience. There is an easy mix between complete professionalism and a warm, welcoming manner. And you will often see the owners working alongside their staff. This kind of approach makes for a home away from home feel. A big shout out to the breakfast crew who made us feel so welcome! Its Fabric: The building itself blends old and new. There is a real sense of celebrated and curated history as you walk the reception areas and corridors. This is no corporately bland offering. No one room is the same shape or style as another. Each has a character all of its own, tailored fixtures and fittings that show the family’s dedication to their hotel and the experience of the guests.Its Location: A short walk from St Marks, on a boulevard that houses many of the finest names in high fashion. An amble to both the Academia and Rialto bridges. The hotel is placed perfectly as a base in which to explore all that Venice has to offer. We love Venice and we can’t wait to return. And when we do, we’ll be staying at Hotel Saturnia and International.

    Amazing hotel

    We stayed at the saturnia in September 2026 and can’t speak highly enough of the hotel, I booked a package through a travel agency but there was no option for a canal view room so I contacted the hotel directly who were happy to arrange this for me, the room was spotlessly clean and like the hotel very quirky and interesting with a moon above the bed, the bedroom and the bathroom both had windows opening over the canal at the rear of the hotel. The location couldn’t have been better with less than a 2 minute walk to St Marks square through a street lined with designer brand shops over a bridge with a gondola station and past a beautiful church. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely and all the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. We would happily stay here again.

    Hidden gem of a hotel. Wonderful staff, great service. The one very minor issue was smoking on the roof top. Honestly though this was minor.
