This magnificent hotel is located at the heart of Venice, right on the exclusive shopping street, Via XXII Marzo, and close to St. Mark's Square. The nearest bars, shops and boutiques as well as public transport links are located just 100 metres from the hotel. The sea is just 3 km away.

The hotel was built in 1908. The hotel has 5 suites, 11 single rooms and 73 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine.     This is a good hotel with a very good location - reflected in the price point. Our room was old fashioned in decor but very clean with a good shower. Linens and towels were of good quality and the bed comfy. The service was excellent with helpful reception staff and charming concierges. They gave us lots of details about what to see and do in Venice. Their restaurant recommendations were pricy but I think due to the location. Breakfast was good with very nice coffee and fresh orange juice and again friendly service. Overall it is the staff that are the best thing about this hotel as they were kind, friendly and helpful. Many thanks.

    Wonderful place to stay in Venice

    We had a wonderful stay at this family-owned hotel and would absolutely choose it again on a future visit! The location was fantastic, easy to find and perfectly situated within comfortable walking distance of major sights and great shopping.The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, well appointed, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The room had impressive products including shampoo and conditioner. Also, they sent us a special bottle of prosecco as we were celebrating a birthday. One of our favorite features was the private dock. It felt especially luxurious and made arriving and departing by water such a fun and memorable experience.We also loved having such a great restaurant and bar right on site. Both were excellent and added so much convenience after full days exploring the city. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!

    Not our usual style of hotel, but it was perfect for this bucket list trip, when our preferred hotel was not available.Family owned, and run for over 100 years, it’s obviously steeped in history which adds to the charm & ambiance.Has its own dock from the canal at the rear of the hotel.Our room was of a very good standard, excellent bathroom with deep bathtub and wonderfully powerful freestanding rain shower.Comfortable bed and interesting full wall art, see images.Buffet breakfast was ok, and regularly re-stocked, and the breakfast team very engaging and attentive. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant as felt there were more authentic options outside but both looked busy. Overall, a good hotel if you want to be centrally located without staying and paying for 5 stars!Would recommend.

    A little piece of paradise

    This beautiful hotel is in a perfect location to explore the whole city. The atmosphere is quiet, elegant and welcoming, a mixture of old and new in this family run gem. Our room was delightful and spacious enough: beautiful furniture and beams on the ceiling, and a little canal below the window. It was a very quiet room so we slept very well. The whole hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more helpful. The Italian breakfast is the best I’ve ever had with authentic food, great coffee, plenty of choice and charming service. Our waitress even arranged a cake to celebrate a family event. It was great to be able to tea and coffee in our room or in the communal seating areas. We didn’t find time to use the spa (maybe next time). This hotel offers great value for money for a lovely experience and we would go back in a heartbeat.
