  Excellent staff

  The hotel is centrally located just off the Strada Nuova. 10-15 minutes walk from the Allilaguna Orange Line from the airport. Ponte Guglie stop5-10 minutes walk from the Ca D'Oro Vaporetto stop.Hotel has own restaurant and there's also a Pizzeria+ as part of the same building. Both are fine. There are plenty of other eateries within a few minutes walk.The room we had in the "annexe" wasn't particularly big, but big enough. Only downside was lack of lift. It's a bit careworn, bits of worn carpet and scuff marks on stairwell but nothing tricky. There are tea and coffee making facilities, but only powdered milkWhat really elevates it was the attitude of the staff. From first arrival and the offer to take up our luggage, through breakfast service and answering queries everybody was really helpful. One member of staff even took time to mark up a map with the location of bookshops. Doubt I'd have got that in most UK Hotels.   Old but beautiful!

  We stayed here from the 23rd to the 27th of April and we had a great time, the hotel is a short walk from the water taxi or water bus and is easy to locate. Our room was actually outside the hotel in an annex which we wernt aware of when we booked but honestly the room was clean and had everything you need for a few nights. The room was a little out dated but to be expected especially in Venice it's old and it's beautiful and there's so much to see that your room really is just a base for sleeping. We did have breakfast included at the hotel and it was good too plenty of options to choose from, toast, pastrys, meats, cheese scrambled and boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit so we couldn't fault it we had breakfast and went straight out exploring. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and it's reasonably priced and their food was delicious and there's a small bar at the same place you have breakfast if you want to go in the evening. The hotel is a short walk from plenty of restaurants and bars and the sights are incredible. There's also a market just up from it if you need anything and a McDonald's if your traveling with fussy kids. My partner and I were here for a weekend and we'll definitely be back theres so much to see we walked for hours and had the most amazing time.   Perfect little hotel for a city break

  Charming little hotel in such a great location.Every member of staff were always super helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was just right so set you up for a day walking and exploring.Thank you to everyone for making our stay just perfect.   LOVELY, CONFORTABLE HOTEL AND STAFFS

  It was such a great experience to live in such a beutiful small hotel. I felt like home as the staff were very friendly, helpful for profitable tips. The room was confortable and very clean. Close to Rialto bridge and easy to manage walking into many places like Sankt Markus. I recomment the hotel and will return. R.   Gorgeous authentic hotel

  My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and we loved every moment. Originally we booked for the pandemic but obviously it was cancelled. We were so glad we stayed with the hotel we had first chosen.Fantastic location, within walking distance of the major sites . We had a canal room and it was stunning.To listen to boats pass by and see people walking over the little bridge was totally perfect.
