    We were a large family group who were lucky enough to find La Meridiana hotel to stay in on our trip to Venice. The Lido was so beautiful and much more child and elderly friendly with loads of restaurants, bars, cafes and beautiful beach area while being a 7 minute ferry ride from St Mark's Square. La Meridiana hotel was so lovely. Our rooms were spacious , very tastefully decorated, beds very comfortable and a really gorgeous outside garden with lots of chairs and tables to enjoy the Italian sunshine. The breakfast at La Meridiana was top class. Plenty of choices, delicious pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, hot dishes and lots more. The highlight for us all was the wonderful Tpanavan and her equally wonderful colleague at breakfast every morning. Always smiling, making sure everyone had everything they needed and preparing delicious coffees for all who wanted it. These 2 ladies do a fantastic job. Everyone at La Meridiana were a pleasure to deal with. We all agreed we would 100%recommend a stay in La Meridiana. We will definitely be back!

    This is our fifth stay at Hotel La Meridiana so that should speak volumes. Location is quiet, peaceful but also convenient for all the amenities. Staff are excellent and very friendly & helpful. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away so you get the best of both worlds. The vaperetto boat ride is just 15 minutes from the centre of Venice which run at very regular times. Hotel La Meridiana is perfect for a holiday in Venice because you can enjoy the beauty of Venice then escape the crowds to the equally beautiful Lido. Venice 24/7 can be overwhelming & tiring so there's nothing better than the escape back to Lido to enjoy a more relaxing & chilled-out location.

    This was a beautiful place to stay. The Lido was peaceful and the staff were extremely accommodating. The breakfast was superb (it had everything you could want and more). The location was perfect for transport and the beach with so many bars and restaurants to choose from. They had a lovely little bar and beautiful garden you can sit in. The rooms were spacious and the staff went out of their way to get us a balcony. I loved it here and will definitely be returning.

    Lovely hotel with excellent and welcoming employees. Checking in was very easy and I felt so special to be given an upgrade! My room was comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely view of the front of the hotel grounds.The room had some great amenities. An easy to use safe, a small minibar fridge and even usb c and usb a charging ports next to t athe bed so I didn't need my clunky plug converter. My room was spotlessly clean for the entirety of my stay.Location of the grounds is good - a 10 minute walk to the vaporetto stops and an area with restaurants, cafes, bars, clothes shops and a small supermarket. Only a couple of minutes from the paid beach areas. If you're looking for the free beaches then it's a 15/20 minute walk in either direction but I'd suggest heading south to take advantage of the stretch of public beach outside of the touristy area. There's a public footpath/bridleway to explore the stretch of beach.I was travelling solo to attend the Biennale exhibitions and always felt safe, in the hotel and Venice itself. If you are visiting the Biennale exhibitions, you'll be pleased to know it's only one or two vaporetto stops from lido, and even if you're there to enjoy other sights, take an hour to see the Parco Delle Rimembranze. It's a breath of fresh air in a city that can be overwhelming.

    We stayed 4 nights in May and it was the best choice for our Venetian vacation. The hotel and garden are beautiful. Also there is a lift. Room was clean, bedlinens extremely soft. Breakfast was very delicious and with good variety of dishes, fresh fruits and vegetables (in Italy continental breakfast is very common and this is poor for Northern tourists!), good machine coffee! Location of the hotel is perfect - 15-20 min walking from vaparetto station, 7-10 min from city centre (Lido) and 5 min to the sand beach. Staff is very friendly especially the lady who is speaking at least 3 languages (Italian, English, Russian), we had personal requests and she was very kind to help us. Just excellent stay!
