Location

The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the historic centre of Venice, near the Palazzo Ducale on San Marco Square and within walking distance of the main museums and places of interest. 7 single rooms and 20 double rooms are available to guests in a 4-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings.     Traditional rustic Venetian hotel.Lovely clean room we stayed in 322 away from main hotel, good size. Perfect for our needs

    The photo on Booking.com etc is not the hotel you are put in. Out room was horrendous (see photos) and the staff completely indifferent.

    Stayed in Room 304 on 10th Oct.We stayed only a night! Regretted booking this hotel. This actually spoilt all the good vibes for our Europe trip.1st the checking in. The entrance is located in a small lane there with signage that is not prominent. The gentleman at the reception was so grouchy and unwilling in answering any of our queries (evening shift). Be prepared to drag your luggage up as there isn’t a lift. Next is the room - Almost everything in the room is breaking down, it is dark, small, dirty looking floor and linen etc etc….. See photos. Too many to write. Don’t waste money with the breakfast. It’s not worth a try at all. We can tell from the facial reactions from others too. And you need to book a time slot for breakfast ( each slot is 30 min) because the space there is too too small.We cut short our stay in Venice. Only plus point is the location, that’s all.

    The hotel is very well located for seeing the sights. Close to the canals, St Marks Square, Doges Palace, and the Rialto Bridge. However, the hotel itself is very dated.We were in room 401, and the stairs were a killer!Buffet breakfast was basic with mini croissants, yoghurt, cereal, tea/coffee, and watery orange juice. The dining room was very small, with a 30-minute interval time slot that you booked the night before. As a party of 6, we almost filled the room.Our room was of adequate size, but the electrics left a bit to be desired with holes in sockets showing wiring, some sockets not working, and switches that served no purpose! The twin beds were comfortable and clean with crisp white sheets, but the blankets and curtains had seen better days. We didn't use our safe, but other family members reported that theirs didn't work. Towels were changed daily. The shower was useable but spat the water out owing to the old shower head, but it did the job. Overall it served its purpose, but we wouldn't rush back for another stay.

    This hotel is located a minute walk to the water taxi, St. Mark’s Square and Doge’s Palace. No elevator on this property be prepared to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs. I would not recommend.
