A Lovely Week!

Just back from seven relaxing days in the Luxor & Cairo Hotel. Our first visit to the area. The hotel was everything we wanted it to be. The location by the beach was wonderful and the hotel itself was excellent. The room (although slightly 'compact') was was lovely as were all the staff - from the cleaners to the ladies on reception to the breakfast servers and the bar staff. Location of the hotel for the bus to the the ferry for Venice couldn't have been more convenient. The hotel (and the resort in general) was pretty quiet - presumably as it was coming close to the end of the summer season, but it was good that this wasn't used as an excuse to let any standards of service slip. Overall, a lovely week!

Absolutely loved this hotel, perfect location, right on the beach and easy walk to the strip with bars & restaurants, also easy access to the bus into the port for day trips to Venice, murano & burano, just cross the island pick up ur ticket and then get on bus on next road , perfect ! The hotel is stunning, exceptional clean and the staff are excellent, the pool are is stunning , you have to reserve and pay for your beds , at 1st I didn’t like the idea but it works perfectly, as you get the beds you want plus towels and brollys , no getting up early to save your bed ! Wish all hotels did this ! The sun loungers are the best Iv ever used , with a built in sun visor for your face , Breakfast is the best Iv ever had , so much top quality choice from breads, artisan butter ???? meats, fruits, yogurts, pastries and perfect cooked options ! The pizzas here are the best too, have a slice a lunchtime ! The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are lovely, we only had a standard but it was large with a balcony and great bathroom ! Perfect holiday

Had the most perfect holiday here. All of the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and so clean. Had an additional cost for the pool bed hire which we didn’t mind because we didn’t have to worry about not getting a bed on the morning or having it taken when we left for lunch. Breakfast had so many choices and was delicious. Evening meal with 4 courses of fine dining had some choices we didn’t want and an alternative was always given. The food was delicious and again the staff in the restaurant were lovely. Would definitely recommend. We have just come back after staying here for a week after booking last minute, we had a lovely chilled holiday and can honestly say we will ?? be back , we did upgrade our room to a sea view and was totally worth it , lovely big room , very clean and comfortable, all the staff seemed very friendly and welcoming, every room are allocated Sunbeds on the beach , which personally I think is a great idea , as we arrived the Sunbeds around the pool had to be booked and paid for which we chose to do ( husband prefers a pool ) we didn’t mind one bit , I understand why the hotel does this as the area around the pool isn’t massive, there was always free beds to book and it saves any sunbed wars , the area around the hotel is fantastic and at 8pm it becomes pedestrianised, there’s loads of lovely restaurants around and plenty of shops, all in all a great time was had . luxor e cairo hotel, Owner at Luxor & Cairo Wellness Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing to stay with us. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the staff were as heipful as can be for staff who's english was very limited it was really annoying at times.80% of the holiday makers were german 10% italian 9% polish and 1% english just be prepared for that..Also be prepared to pay for sun loungers around the pool 6 euros a day..also be prepared for all your drinks and meals to get put on your bill at the end and yours hotel taxes so you need to keep an eye out for how much your spending and need to save...nothing really to do on a night the whole area is quiet and so non english......But on the possitive side the hotel was great the pool the beach the staff all great..would i stay there again 100% yes if you want a quiet and chilled out holiday then this is for you...if you want to get blathered and meet more english to have fun with then NO..ive given 4 stars because the hotel deserves it..
