    Long review -We arrived late morning and was greeted by Veda, what a lovely lady and a great happy smile. She was so helpful and gave us a quick run down of where we were, how to get to places, excellent restaurants nearby and to the hotel itself. We had an upgrade due to a special anniversary which was really appreciated. The hotel is in canneregio which is about 15 mins walk from Rialto bridge and is quiet but so accessible to everywhere. The water bus stop at cal d’or to get to ie Rialto, st marks, Lido etc. Fort Nova to get to Murano Burano and also the Airport.The breakfast is great and whilst there we saw Iris everyday, a very friendly and helpful young waitress. She is another asset to the hotel. Must say all the staff were always available and helpful. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. If /when we go back we will def return to this area and definitely this hotel.     Great stay! Clean room, good breakfast and good location. Lovely lounge available all day with complimentary coffee, tea and pastries.

    Absolutely amazing stay . Location is ideal , away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to the centre .Building with the old charm and modern comforts.Very clean and quiet .Room was spacious and en suite was spacious and well lit .Lovely breakfast and the complimentary sweet treats and drinks in the afternoon is just perfect when you come in for a little rest after a day out .Highlight though is the staff . Soooooo friendly and helpful . The lovely cleaning team were soooooo friendly. Smiling and greeting us and so helpful . The lovely lady at breakfast was very helpful and kind . I must say Simonne who checked us in was so welcoming and helpful . Then the next few days Neda in reception was beyond helpful . She told us where to go , restaurants , local recommendations and we loved all her recommendations.     We stayed at Maison Venezia last weekend, we had a fantastic stay. Friendly greeting on arrival from reception, they gave us a map of the city and pointers as to what to see and how to navigate the vaporetto. Our room was beautiful, so big, we were so pleased. The chandelier was stunning & bed comfortable. Every comfort you could wish for and a powerful hairdryer in the bathroom too!. Lovely view of the canal. Food at breakfast was nice, I'm a vegetarian and found a good choice every morning. It was a lovely touch that pastries and biscuits were available most of the day too. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very quiet.We ate at 2 local restaurants that I would recommend, Trattoria Alle Lanterine and Ristorante Da Poggi, we had delicious meals at both. Fantastic trip to Venice, loved it.
