    The place looks totally different from the published pictures on Agoda or booking.com.The hotel is old and needs a serious maintenance. Rooms , furnitures, toilets, shower are really unwelcoming. They charge 7€ a day for the parking although it is mentioned free parking on Agoda (Staff got angry when I pointed it out , asked me to deal with Agoda and called me a liar when I said I didn't receive a receipt to do so).The Aircon and the WC ventilation are very old and very noisy.The place is not clean.

    You’re certainly getting what you pay for. Rooms are fairly small, not the nicest.. don’t let that put you off they are perfectly fine just nothing special, motel level room but location is brilliant and you’re not in Venice for the hotel!! Staff were all nice whenever we spoke to them, the manager I believe checked us in on our arrival and gave us the information we needed to get into Venice (15 mins or so on a bus).

    We spent only one night in this hotel and considering the location and prices this was such a good places to staying. Workers were nice and kind people treating very well and this places need to getting know better.

    this hotel is not what you see in pictures...dirty bathroom,no heater in bathroom, not safe elevator, dark and not safe neighborhood ,slow WiFi ,uncomfortable bed ...the day I stayed in colombo hotel was the worst day of my Europe journey ...

    Unfortunately booked this without reading the reviews, after reading them we knew we were in for a great experience.. but we tried to remain positive. The walk from the train station is not as close as you think about a 10-15 min walk through a tunnel and a dodgy area, which I’m glad I never had to do a night.Reception looked like something from a horror movie which led tousing something to a resemblance to a tin can as a lift to get to the room. As we entered the room the smell was horrendous, with closer inspection there was stains on the walls, dead bugs everywhere, plugs hanging off walls. The list is endless, after staying here 20 mins we decided to book somewhere else. As young travellers trying to save money we couldn’t even justify staying here as it was that bad. We told the woman on the desk we were leaving and she couldn’t have been less bothered. Do not stay here!!
