  I stayed only one night in this hotel: clean room, comfortable mattress, I would have given 5 stars for this and because they accepted me with the two dogs, who are polite for charity and of course paying the supplement, but I am forced to give two stars because the breakfast was indecent.The fruit in the fridge was all dated, or too ripe or shrivelled, some banana even fermented, the biscuits and soggy breakfast cakes evidently open for some time, the boiled eggs prepared I do not know when but not that morning. Only the croissants were saved. I would have made my representations on site but the only lady who was there was very busy with the customers of the bar there arrived at a bike race.   You have to adapt, but the location is convenient.

  Very, very dated structure. Cleanliness acceptable. The bathroom is very uncomfortable, because the space between toilet and shower is one. The lamp is placed on a mini-bar, which serves as a bedside table, but is not usable because it lights up intermittently. The decor is very retro but the bed is comfortable.The owners are very courteous, there is parking in front of the hotel, showing the pass, and this makes it very convenient. Interesting location. Absence of elevator. ALBERGO Leon d'Oro, Direttore generale at Albergo Leon d'Oro, responded to this review Non è che l'Ospite sia "COSTRETTO" a soggiornare da Noi, "ADATTANDOSI", non fa altro che prenotare un HOTEL diverso, pagando quello che chiedono, in base alla categoria. Da Noi, salvo qualche eccezione di clienti come Lei, lo scelgono proprio perchè piace, se Lei non le va bene, fuori dell'Autostrada, ci sono 4 HOTEL, dove potrà scegliere a suo piacere, senza venire a denigrare, chi con spirito di sacrificio e deontologia professionale, è al servizio 24 H all'Ospite.   unfriendly & some unhelpful staff

  The hotel has car parking outside free parking. We were told breakfast was from 07.00 till 10.00 o’clock. But they started to remove the food at 09.20. And on one day turned the lights off at 09.20. Also we did not like the way our passports were left on show at reception in a pigeon hole with our room key. One of our rooms was not made up on one occasion. Very small en suite. This hotel is a good distance from Venice. About 40 minutes drive by car and also 30 mins from airport in other direction (Treviso). Shower mouldy and dirty and shower doors had to be closed to be able to use toilet. No lift available. ALBERGO L, Proprietario at Albergo Leon d'Oro, responded to this review be kind and courteous with the guests, all right, but passre for stupid, I do not find exact. You came in the breakfast room at 10:50, not 10:00 Ye have not summer time as we, but you have to adapt the time of the country where you are staying, and it's not just that the time has melted. you have not only one hour back. The room was not done, because you have asked you this, just asking for clean towels, the bathroom is a normal bath, only now you have to denigrate this as well. The passports, as in all the hotels, in the key box were placed, where we had to keep them in a safe? You have made a noise in the breakfast room, laughing and talking loudly, as if you were just you in the hotel, without respecting the privacy and the silence of the other guests, you have been rude and impolite. The elevator, it does not say anywhere that there is, even when you booked, and even rols Royce to take you to the airport, since we are in the mood for lies, falsehoods, the also we tell Us.P.S. You can not use the Hotel, like your home, respect must be for all the guests, and that you do not have it.

  Do Not Stay Here... Ever!!

  I would never stay at the his hotel again or recommend it to anyone!! This was the worst hotel experience of my life.-Although it says it isn't far, the hotel is actually extremely far from the airport & it costs 75 Euro by cab. -We get to our room... & it did not have working A/C.... THEN when we go down to discuss this problem with the staff, we come to realize they do not speak any English. NONE. Although it is noted on a lot of the hotel websites that they do... this is false. We had to revert to what felt like talking to toodlers & using hand gestures which they still did not understand. They literally thought we were lying about our A/C being broke.-Since the staff could not help us, the main manager (who spoke a little more English than everyone else) came to talk with us. Myself & 2 of my friends began to explain our issues to him & this escalated into a yelling match in the middle of hotel lobby... how professional.-After sleeping in hell for 2 nights, the finally decide to move us to another room... WITHOUT telling us. They took all of our unpacked belongings & put them in an entirely different room without even asking.-To top that off... they also FORGOT to take our passports, wallets, & digital cameras out of the safe in the previous room... We realized this AFTER someone else moved into that room, with a key to our safe. Thank goodness nothing was stolen, but even if it was, its not like we could have communicated that to them anyway.-The breakfast buffet is not exciting at all. Most of the food is prepackaged & nothing is that great.-The hotel is no where near anything. To get to a beach, it will take you at least 45 minutes... taking about 4 different buses. It took about 1hr & 30 to get to Venice. Coming back to the hotel buses don't run as late as you migh think so you will probably get stranded.If you want to have a good trip... don't stay here! =)

  Worst hotel experience ever

  We checked in at evening to a very nice room. Before we started to unpack, we discovered something stuck in the toilette that woudn't flush. We immediately called the receptionist, who came up to our room and swifly moved us to a bigger room, saying that we would be moved back in the morning.While eating breakfast next morning, another receptionist came by and informed us that we must pay 30 Euro for... the plumber!Couple of seconds later, after it sank in, we asked for the manager. The friendly fellow told us we must pay or leave at once. We had no intention to pay extra charge for a dirty room. Luckily, we paid for 2 nights in advance, so he had to give up, but moved us to a smaller room (than the original one). Be sure, our day in Venice was ruined after all this offending toilette quarrel.Bottom line: very nice facility, poor management. If all goes well, you probabely won't notice anything unusual; otherwise, you will have to handle with a manager that makes good old Basil Fawlty look like the emblem of hospitality.
