Felt like Cinderella??

I chose this small hotel in Dorsoduro district after having a lovely stay here 25 years ago with my husband and son…our room had been beautiful, tall ceilings, spacious with frescoed ceiling and period furniture. I felt like a princess! However this recent stay, I have to state that I felt a little more like Cinderella…we were put into a tiny, attic room with peeling paint walls, a bathroom that is tiny (and needs scrubbing for mold in bathtub). Though I’m 25years older, I’m in ok shape, which is good because there are several flights of steps one must take after the elevator stops on 2nd floor. The garden and potted plants need attention but the generous breakfast was still appreciated. Oh, the tv antenna also does not work.

Great location, right beside campo Santa margarita in Dorsoduro which has reasonably priced bars and restaurants as in student area. 20 mins walk to St Mark’s and couple of minutes walk to Ca’Rezzonico vaporetto stop which also serves the airport water bus service. Staff were lovely, breakfast very efficient and pretty good.Have stayed here a few times over the years.

Just returned from this wonderful hotel. Absolutely faultless. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Lovely, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic location. Would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a 3 day weekend at this lovely hotel. All staff are friendly, the hotels, age and decor lends itself to Venice. Both are superb and really should be on your bucket list!

Just returned from a fabulous stay at.this lovely hotel. From start to finish we have had exceptional.service. The hotel is.located about 5 to 10 minutes from the water taxi to all.the main tourist attractions. The room was.lovely, with fresh towels and.cleaned.every day. You go just go.over the bridge to the square where there are.plenty of restaurants.and shops.to.explore. all.staff.at.the hotel were friendly and.helpful,.Maria, mauro, and I have to say,.Carlo was.exceptional with his friendly and.helpful customer service. He went over and.beyond to help us with whatever we asked off.him. He certainly.is an asset to the hotel. Breakfast was.great too,.continental and.cooked.with.pastries, biscuits, fruit,.and.pancakes. breakfast.staff.were.also very friendly.and.helpful. The hotel.is situated by the canal,.nice and quiet but.still within easy.reach of.all.amenities. we had a.wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel whilst.visiting venice.
