Location

This hotel enjoys an enviable location just 100 m from St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. It is not far to the nearest links public transport to/from the airport and the railway station, as well as the car parks, the port and the islands of the lagoon. It is about 700 m to the Rialto Bridge, some 1500 m to the Lido Beach and roughly 3 km to Murano Island. Venice Airport is only approximately 12 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1600. 16 non-smoking rooms are available to guests. The reception desk is open round the clock. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including a baggage storage service, a safe, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a business centre and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well.     Vintage boutique vibes with delightful personality

    We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Wilder this spring. We loved the boutique vibe and vintage decor, plus the updated bathrooms were a perk. Everything was quaint - even the vintage key you get for the room! Beds were comfy - a little hard but nothing to complain about. We LOVED how helpful the concierge was, even drawing us a little map and highlighting some offbeat destinations to check out. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant each morning was a big perk! And the location right near San Marco square can't be beat. But the highlight? A dolphin that lives outside the hotel and plays in the water each afternoon - we had a blast spotting him! Rooms were clean. It was a good value, considering we were traveling as a family throughout Italy and had to book two rooms in each location.

    Amazing hotel, great on the house free breakfast and close to st marks square. Perfect for our holiday in Venice and the windows effectively works as a fridge. (If you go, make sure to go during spring so you don't get too hot)

    We actually stayed at this hotel April 2024. The hotel was quite outdated. Musty smell and the hotel told us that all of the a/c is not working. The view was nice, but it indeed felt like we were staying in a room that has not been updated in decades. There is no lift so you will be taking your luggage by stairs. Our visit to Venice was wonderful, but we would never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend.

    Absolutely amazing experience at Wildner as always. We quickly got a same day reservation after having an issue with a different hotel. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. They even recognized my husband from years ago when he stayed with family! The included breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the lunch we got there another day too!The staff seem like Italian locals with a family feel to the hotel. The location is a quick walk to water taxi, St. Mark’s and many other restaurants and shops. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!

    We arrived early and our room was ready, warm friendly service from the start. Beautiful view from the fourth floor. We decided to try the restaurant for lunch. Friendly service lovely food. This hotel is well appointed a couple of bridges from the main square and across from the ferry stop. Great spacious room with a fabulous shower. A massive thank you to all the staff great friendly service lovely and clean great food and wine. I’m gluten free they catered for me having had breakfast a lunch and a supper there. Great drinks menu too.My partner proposed on the Saturday a beautiful Easter weekend.
