Location

This hotel is located only about 10 m from the famous beach on the Lido, and about 15 minutes by water bus from St Mark's Square. Guests will enjoy their stay in these glorious surroundings, where they can have a wonderful holiday or simply relax for a few days.

At the air-conditioned resort, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service.     Our check in closed at 8.00pm so we rushed to get there so we didn’t end up locked out. At 7.40pm we arrived at reception to find no staff there (they must have gone home early) and a note with instructions for us on the door, not v welcoming or safe. We were told to show our ID the next day within a 2hr time frame in the morning - which kinda ruined our plans of sightseeing as we had planned out our day already. My partner asked receptionist there the pool opening times he said until 6pm but make sure you get pool towels from reception before going in pool. We cut our Venice day out short in order to get back and have a swim (before 6pm). At the reception a different staff member was there she bluntly stated the pool is closed for maintenance- we weren’t told that in the morning! They had no more info , this was annoying because I booked this hotel on the strength of the pool (we love to swim). We swam in the sea instead. Hotel gets a star for the close location to the Lido beach and nearness to water bus.Being messed around twice we took our time on the 3rd day of a trip, I did not trust staff regarding the pool as it’s obvious that there’s no organisation between staff members as they tell guests different things. We also had to request new towels and for someone to clean our apartment or at least take out the kitchen bin. There was no door hanger to say’please clean this room’ and we were a bit confused. My poor partner had to go to reception like each morning - it’s bad service when we paid for 3 nights a considerable amount of money.Also our apartment was advertised as room with garden terrace but it was a view of industrial bins in the street and the car park, with a bit of hedge lining the street. The decor needs an update as I had the same navy carpet back in the 90s. Our sofa was uncomfortable and the light fixtures needed dusting. The extractor fan in main bathroom was v noisy sounded like a jet engine, hard to not wake up your partner if you needed the bathroom in the night. Our double bed had a dent in the middle of it and we could only get one plug socket to work (with a 2 prong travel adaptor). 2 stars for location and a functional (if old fashioned) apartment. The issues above were quite stressful so I would not return to this hotel if visiting Venice again.

    Large 2 bedroom apartment about 10 minute walk from the ferry and close to restaurants. Bed was comfy and we enjoyed our stay. Weren’t able to use the pool as weather was miserable, but would have been good to chill there after walking around Venice. If in lido again, I would return. No issues.

    Read really positive reviews about this place online, but was very disappointed! There were lots of steps all over the complex, making it difficult to get luggage into apartments. If you have mobility issues, I would avoid this place! The pool was closed. although wasn't advised of this until I arrived! The apartment was pretty shabby and really needed an update. Lots of ripped wallpaper, chipped woodwork, dripping taps, one shower worked, the second shower didn't, broken glass in the kitchen area, the hob didn't heat properly (no chance of actually cooking anything). The positives - it's close to the beach and restaurants / shops / bars are 15 minute walk away.

    - Staff 1a friendly extremely helpful very competent - Appartement fulfilled our expectations, yes some things could get worked on (wood around AC shows some water damage, some carpets frayed) but all in all very nice.- pool was wonderful but the massage jets don’t work - if traveling with a dog ask for the downstairs apartment with garden (it is cooler in summer)- ac worked very well- beach is ca 30 seconds away, but be aware this is Italy and one pays for beach each use. (No dash allowed)- Dogs are welcome (just not at the pool) All in all a very pleasant stay which we can gladly suggest

    A beautiful place to relax and enjoy peace. Very friendly staff, 10-star reception, friendly, pleasant and always ready to satisfy requests.Beautiful flats, with cosy outdoor spaces. Very fabulous swimming pool.Highly recommended.
