  Lovely hotel in great location

  We loved our stay here, the hotel was a calm oasis in the midst of the busy San Marco area (the square is only one minute away). We stayed for four nights, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with nice bathrooms and good showers. The bed was very comfortable, and we liked the elegant Venetian style of the decor. The rooms have air conditioning and are cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. There are lots of restaurants nearby, we went twice to Cherubino which was excellent. The hotel staff are exceptional, we were very well looked after! From advice on places to visit or eat, to arranging a water taxi to the airport (a fabulous way to travel and worth the expense), the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. This hotel is very special, and we would absolutely stay here again.   Our experience here was amazing and so was our receptionist. Its a great location, very close to Doges Palace with welcoming restaurants (who can understand you when your english). Was my friends birthday and we got a free cheesecake which we very much appreciated. Our room was perfect with lots of freebies and fairly spacious, was great for the price.   The pictures in TA do not portray the quality of this hotel - very deceiving . Very expensive and tony rooms. The manager was helpful in moving us to another better hotel. We could only stand one nite and left to find another hotel. The ratings in TA are crazy for this place - no way . As we explained, the reservation we received from the system was specifically for a small double room located on the first floor with an independent entrance. We understand completely that you were convinced you had booked one of our more spacious and luminous rooms because you had been inspired by the beautiful main cover image on our property listing. As is customary in the hospitality world, a cover photo represents the general soul and atmosphere of the hotel. Naturally, when specific dates of arrival and departure are selected, the system only displays the rooms that are actually available for that timeframe. In your case, unfortunately, our only remaining availability was this smaller room category.You kindly shared with us that you were unable to view the specific images of the room you selected during the booking process, and we are genuinely sorry that you felt compelled to proceed blindly with your reservation. Since your booking was made through a link on TripAdvisor, which connects to multiple different sales channels and intermediaries, we strongly suspect that the specific third-party tour operator you used was not entirely transparent or accurate in their presentation of the room. We meticulously describe the exact dimensions in square meters, the ideal type of guest for each room, the exposure, whether there is a view or not, the floor level, how to access it, and all the included amenities. They were captured during the beautiful season on days filled with abundant natural light.   Great Place To Explore Venice From!

  My wife and I stayed for 3 nights doing a quick exploration of Venice. Our experience was great, the team was extremely helpful from the time we arrived. They gave us great tips on things to do, places to eat, etc., and marked up a map they provided us to help us find things. Room was nice, bed comfortable, and my wife and I agreed they had the best shower ever!! Immediate hot water, great pressure. Location is great, a couple of minutes from St. Mark's square so easy to get around to see things. We also had their full breakfast one morning, which was good but too much to eat. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Venice!
