  Charming Hotel in a fantastic location with friendly and helpful reception staff

  We had a lovely stay at Hotel San Gallo! The location is excellent, just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace, and luxury shopping like Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton.The reception staff were friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for transportation and restaurants. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats in our room, including chocolates, fruits, and cheese.One thing I like was the old school charm of using actual keys to access the main building, hotel entrance, and our room.The hotel also has a nice rooftop area. Breakfast is available for an additional fee but must be ordered the day before.Overall, a quaint and charming hotel with a great location and wonderful hospitality. We would happily stay here again!   Amazing Hotel and Staff

  Just back from 3 nights at this amazing hotel.I cannot fault it..The location is brilliant,the Hotel and overall cleanliness is 10/10 and the staff are absolutely amazing especially Vito.When myself and my wife checked in Vito took us to our room and gave us a tour,he pointed us in the right direction for everything locally and saved us time and money,he was a true ambassador for Venice and the hotel itself..We will be back to Venice and Hotelsangall again for sure...Thank you again Vito,much love from Ireland ????   What can i say about this fantastic Hotel..First of all the hotel is in a fantastic location and steps away from St.Marks square..As soon as you arrive the staff treat you like family..Had an amazing room and it was spotless with fresh towels and Housekeeping was amazing..They knew my wife had a big birthday during our stay and there was a bunch of flowers and a birthday cake on her big day as we came back from a day of exploring and that meant the world to us ??They have got a lovely terrace as well for breakfast and drinks and of course smokers..Just want to say Thank You to Vito and all his amazing staff and the San Gallo Hotel for making our magical stay in venice even more magical..If you are thinking of staying in Venice then this hotel has to be 1 of your top choices to stay in this magical city ??????   Quaint and quirky super stay in Venice, with fantastic hosts and a brilliant location

  Right from the off the staff in San Gallo could not have been more helpful. We changed our booking a couple of times and it was never a problem, and they kept us up to date on everything right up until our arrival, including great info around the visitor tax, and the best way to get our bags to the hotel from the Alilaguna airport water shuttle.Always friendly and welcoming and super-keen to be of help, the staff in San Gallo go way above and beyond what's necessary to run a great wee hotel.The location is fantastic, between St Mark's Square (San Marco) and Rialto Bridge, with only a short walk to either. The room is quaint and quirky but also very comfortable with excellent air conditioning and a great powerful shower. The bed was firm and comfortable - for us at least - as well.If we make it back to Venice, which I hope we do, we would certainly book again at San Gallo!
