  A BRILLIANT STAY

  We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Staycity and would definitely return again. Our room was very big and spacious, and being on the 8th floor with a balcony made it even better. Despite being able to see the train station from the balcony, the room was very quiet and we couldn’t hear any outside noise.The room had everything we needed, including cutlery and washing-up liquid in the kitchenette, which made things very convenient. The two sofas converted into spacious single beds that you make yourself, but duvets, pillows, and clear instructions were all provided, so it was very straightforward.The room was cleaned once during our stay, which suited us fine. A special thank you to Rose and her colleague at reception, who were very welcoming and happy to accommodate our requests.The location is excellent — there’s an Interspar supermarket about a 5-minute walk away, the train station is around 10 minutes on foot, and there’s also a small convenience store on the way. Plenty of food places and gelato shops are within walking distance too.Overall, a brilliant stay. We would happily stay here again and would also love to try other Staycity branches when visiting other cities.   Good location!

  Stayed here through a easyjet package holiday for 3 nights.Pros- good location to train and bus station - clean- good shower Cons- could hear trains upto 11.30 pm and started at 5am- housekeeping every 5 days or so, so had to use same towel.Didn't get breakfast included so can't comment.Tried to move room but fully booked. Would stay again and recommend!   Excellent stay in Mestre

  A really nice appartment just outside of Venice. Its a few minutes walk to the station for a 10 minute ride into Venice. Quiet area, with a few decent restaurants for evenings. The reception staff were so helpful, especialy Guiliet ( apologies for the bad spelling) who gave directions to the supermarket, and had her phone at the ready with directions to places to eat. The 1 bed flat was roomy and well set up, with a small but very functional kitchenette, a comfy couch and a nice bedroom with lots of wardrobe space. The shower was exceptional, hot and easy to work. We had a minor issue with the air conditioning which was resovled quickly, and the offer to move if it couldnt be fixed was there. For light sleepers, you are next to a railway so pack earbuds.   Unlucky Room Allocation

  Great hotel but avoid room 308Stayed here for 3 nights as a base for visiting Venice. Having stayed at other Staycity locations in the UK we knew what to expect and these expectations were met.Well locatedQuality apartmentsFriendly staffHowever. Think we were very unlucky and were allocated room 308 which whilst was very well equipped and comfortable has 3 main issues.1) it over looks the main railway line and could do with additional sound insulation as train noise is constant with trains passing every 5 mins or so.2) The room is adjacent to one of the two lifts and concrete stairwell. As a result it suffers from significant passing footfall which is amplified by the stairwell construction.3) internal pipe work needs greater insulation as you hear running water every time someone above uses their toilet or shower.I must stress that this was probably particular to this room and overall wouldn’t stop us from returning, we would just ensure we requested a different room. Positives:Great location, just 5 mins walk to station and bus terminal with 20 min connection to Marco Polo airportGood local cafes and restaurants Well equipped and comfortable apartmentsFriendly and helpful staff.We are definitely Staycity fans and look forward to visiting other locations in the future.
