Location

This hotel is housed in a completely renovated palace directly on the Canale Canareggio and close to the train station. Links to the public transport network and the town centre are close at hand. There are plenty of shopping venues, bars and nightclubs within 200 m of the hotel. Marco Polo airport is some 20 km away.

A suite, 1 single room and 22 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Easy to walk to hotel from train. Quiet location. Staff were nice and comforting. Room was clean and looked like pictures. Big breakfast. Beautiful view. 24 hour front desk with cold drinks. Thank you to Abraham for making me laugh and singing me happy birthday!! I hope I see you again soon.

    Absolutely disgraceful would never recommend Firstly on arrival day we got a room on the second floor had no lifts had to drag two 20kg suitcases up 4 flights of stairsWhen got to room nothing like photos reminded me of a prison cell no moving around space couldn’t open window due to scaffolding and all could hear was banging as it was under construction Wasn’t happy so went down to reception eventually after going back and forth with the receptionist she agreed to change us to a different room on the ground floor so we took it,We can back some time later and the room was covered in ants on the walls and the tables when we spoke to a man who had black glasses and was bald he was the rudest person ever and told us it was our fault cause we were eating food in the room isn’t that what u meant to do After arguing with him over and back we just grabbed our bags and left would never return bck If I’m being honest it put a whole damper on our holiday awayy with the rudeness of stafff

    DO NOT STAY HERE. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Good luck if your room is on the third floor, if you are taller than 4ft you will not be able to stand up in the room. The shower is tiny and very outdated. There is construction all over the hotel, they began hammering away at 7:30am. They claim to have air conditioning but it does not work at all. Our room was at least 20 degrees hotter than it was on the street. When we went to the front desk to express some frustrations, the woman was extremely rude and not helpful at all.

    Stayed here for 4 nights with my mum, dad and granny. Booked when the reviews were good and was terrified after seeing all of the negative reviews lately. However, our experience was very pleasant! We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist and then given our room keys. My mum and dad were given a room in the newer building which they enjoyed whilst my granny and I stayed in the original building. Ours was definitely a lot more old fashioned, however, despite what the previous reviews say, we loved it more! It is exactly what we expect when we go to Venice - and if you want a modern hotel that's okay but to expect it in the budget of this hotel is a big ask!! Our heaters were stuck on so we did have to sleep with the windows open but it was still quiet as it is located in a quiet area. The only reason for the missing star is the breakfast. It was very basic cold food and then tea, coffee, and juice. We did ask for toast but they said this wasn't possible. Again, for the price we paid and the price of food in Venice this wasn't the worst thing in the world, just mildly disappointing. We would 100% stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family. Edited to add: You are also given 10% off the restaurant opposite. Although it was never told to us, you do need to book this in advance rather than walk in :)

    Save your money and go anywhere.. literally anywhere else in Venice. We joked we were sleeping in reception. By the amount of banging and screaming from 6am we may as well have been. Unless you are students on a shoestring, save your hard earned cash, feet & sanity and stay elsewhere Just awful
