Pleasant but grumpy staff

The hotel was Beautiful, the room was adequate , great shower .We arrived for breakfast @9.45 to be greeted by the waitress checking her watch and rolling her eyes.Food was tasty but taken away before we could finish our breakfast resulting in us leaving hungry .The male waiter was pleasant The younger male receptionist was impatient and curt when asking for help. Also rolling his eyes when I approached the desk for more help with directions Night receptionist was friendly and helpful

The rooms are clean and comfortable, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, but there is an old furniture smell everywhere and it can trigger some people. The food during brakfast is simple, bread, cheese, ham, not too much. As a stay to sleep and go to Venice I think this hotel is a very good choice, there is a bus and trumway stations nearby.

One of those rooms you barely want to touch

Shabby room in need of renovation. Sheets had something like blood on them. Went to get new set from front desk - new set was the same. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. One of the waiters at breakfast was not very nice. We just stopped here as a stop in our journey home between cities. I’m glad this isn’t where we stayed when we visited Venice for a few days.

Convenient basic hotel with good transport links

The staff were very nice and very informative especially how to use the transport system. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. Lots of croissants in different flavours, sandwich buffet, coffee /tea etc. Room was basic with the bed, old wardrobe & a flat tv. However, tv was on top of the wardrobe and was difficult to turn on ( even with the remote) Room smelt very old and stuffy. Good size bathroom with a bath. We could open the balcony door and go out to the small balcony. Due to having thin windows, it was not quiet till about 11pm. Very good transport links to travel to anywhere. We got the 2 day travel passes from the hotel, which is available for the same price online or in some local shops.
