  Super small outdated rooms. Had a window but it was closed with shutters from the outside. We could hear everything from the hallway to the other people’s rooms… Breakfast was okay nothing special. I would not go back.

  Disappointing stay — lower your expectations for basic service

  We arrived at Hotel Venice Resort in the morning and, as expected, it was too early to check in. The front desk staff kindly offered to store our luggage so we could explore and return later.However, the rest of our stay was disappointing. We were assigned a room in an entirely separate building belonging to an adjacent hotel, reachable only by a poorly lit pathway. Upon entering, we discovered the bed was completely unmade—just bare sheets and pillowcases. When we went to the front desk to complain (since the in-room phone didn't work), we were simply instructed to retrieve a duvet and blanket from a drawer under the mini-fridge and make the bed ourselves.The next morning, the paid shuttle to VCE airport was punctual, but the driver dropped us off in a distant parking lot far from the departure terminal, leaving us to haul our luggage the rest of the way. Additionally, travelers should note that there is no pedestrian sidewalk between the Bus 5 stop and the hotel, making it unsafe to walk to or from the property in the dark.Aside from the fenced pool, the property looks nothing like its Expedia photos. It felt like an overbooked hotel passing off guests into suboptimal neighboring facilities, and I would not recommend staying here.

  Pay a few bucks more for a better place.

  Hotel is a bit run down overall and gives hostel vibes when you walk in. They charge 15 Euros for their shuttle to airport (1 mile). To top it off, AC is centrally set to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (24.8C) even though room has a thermostat which gives you the illusion of control. All in all, you can do better. It is not worth the few dollars/Euros you seem to save.   I would not stay here again. Unfortunately, the room did not meet the standard I would expect from a 4-star hotel, particularly given the price.We were only given one room key, and when we asked if we could have a second, we were told that the hotel only provides one key per room.The bathroom door did not lock, which was disappointing from both a comfort and privacy perspective. The bedsheets were also smaller than the actual bed, leaving parts of the mattress uncovered.There was only one bedside table, presumably due to the limited space in the room, although this was inconvenient. More importantly, there was only one electrical socket in the entire room, and even that was located underneath the table. I had to plug the kettle into it simply to boil water, which was far from convenient.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.   No hot water, No heat, No Accountability

  This was the last stop on a two-week tour of Italy. When we arrived the entrance was poorly marked. On checking in the “manager” was sarcastic and rude. We didn’t care as we were all exhausted and ready to shower and head to bed before a 5:30am flight. After lugging our bags up two flights of stairs (there is no lift) we entered a poorly cleaned, damp room with no heat. Then, I tried the shower. There was absolutely no hot water. “Deena” from the front desk came up to the room and announced that the frigid water was “as good as it gets here”. She seemed to think this was hilarious. We left for dinner and on returning the room was COLD. We froze for several hours before heading out to catch the shuttle we booked prior to our stay. The shuttle was overcrowded and dropped us off on the road leading into the airport (not even at the terminal). On checking out, the man at the desk didn’t even look up or acknowledge us in any way. Others were in the lobby complaining about a lack of heat and hot water when we returned from dinner. Avoid this place!
