The town of Mogliano Veneto is 7 km from Mestre-Marghera and 10 km from the centre of Venice. This town is a must for those who want to visit the ancient Venetian villas and the summer residence of the 'Republica Serenissima'. Their magnificent parks can be admired whilst travelling along the S.S. 13 road, known as the Terraglio, which connects Mogliano Veneto to Venice, which is half an hour's drive from the country house. The beach in Jesolo is approximately 41 km from the city hotel, Treviso is a 20-minute drive, and Venice-Marco Polo airport is around 15 km away.

A large and beautiful historic villa with a large park.We like old, stately villas and are willing to make some concessions to our expectations of hotel quality in these cases. Those who are not enthusiastic about old villas may find it difficult to accept the worn-out interior and inadequate service.The five-star category is an obvious exaggeration - both the condition of the hotel and the level of service are not at the 5-star level. The only thing that definitely met the five-star standard here was the amenity kit in the bathroom.If you are setting yourself up for a 5-star experience in advance, you will definitely be disappointed, but the price is quite reasonable for it and if you like old villas, it is definitely worth a visit.The main house is magnificently decorated and the more magnificent suites are in the main house.The buildings and sometimes the furnishings are worn, but still in acceptable condition.The park is a bit neglected, but nothing too bad.There is no porter and you have to carry your suitcases to the room yourself.The Classic room is OK in size, but the bathroom is extremely small and the toilet is positioned in such a way that it is difficult for a taller person to sit there. Large terrace, but it is quite plain and there is only a small metal table and two chairs.I have also stayed there in a Junior Suite and it is a significantly larger room and a spacious bathroom, but there is no terrace or balcony.Good breakfast, the choice is not very rich, but above average for Italy and everything offered is of high quality. Egg dishes are prepared according to your wishes.Good restaurant for dinner.Good pool which was also big enough for swimming and the pool also has a very deep part.It seems that guests who are not staying at the hotel can also come to the pool and because of this it can be quite crowded and although there are quite a few sun loungers at first glance, there may be a shortage of them during peak times.Quiet surroundings and there is nowhere to go without a car.There is enough parking space.We have stayed here many times and will probably come again.

Unique place - an old ervilla that serves primarily as a golf club and restaurant for members

A somewhat interesting older villa converted into a hotel. Rooms were large and pleasant. Many first floor rooms had walk-out patios, which was nice. There is a pool for swimming and a restaurant (expensive) and bar (very expensive). Most of the people lounging at the pool were golf club members and not hotel guests.The food was excellent, the ambiance was very good. We chose this hotel because it is unusual and not far from the Venice airport. Too far away for visiting Venice easily. Also a bit buggy. You could open the windows to enjoy the scent of the flowers in the gardens, but inevitablre several bugs would enter the room.

A large and beautiful historic villa with a large park.The Classic room was OK in size, but the bathroom was extremely small and the toilet bowl is positioned in such a way that a taller than average person has difficulty fitting in.The room was a bit worn, but still OK.I have also stayed there in the Junior Suite and it is a significantly larger room, but I liked the terrace in the Classic room.A good-sized pool that was also suitable for swimming and the pool also has a very deep part.It seems that customers who are not staying at the hotel can also come to the pool and that is why it is quite crowded.Breakfast with a good selection, but a few years ago the selection was richer. It must be said that in every hotel where we had a repeat visit, the breakfast selection has become a little smaller compared to previous years.A good dinner in the hotel restaurant.There is enough parking.The pool was closed in the morning due to the felling of a tree in the garden, but this was not announced in advance and it ruined our plans, as we had the choice of either going on an early morning excursion or staying at the hotel and being in the hotel pool and we chose the pool. So we missed out on both the excursion and the pool.

We only stayed here one night before we flew from Venice back home, and were very impressed with the beautifulgrounds. Pool was gorgeous, but was unavailable at 5 PM for swimming because they were doing chlorine addition. The pond at the back of the property is full of green algae, and we heard there were mosquitoes back there. Our room was absolutely huge, with a nice view of the front of the property, and a really big bathroom. It was very hard getting into the tub, The floor of the tub was “bouncy” and slick, and the shower was hard to work. Loved all the bathroom amenities. Dinner was very good, but breakfast had some stale cakes, and the staff was decidedly unfriendly.

Beautiful picture, average conditions

This is not your typical 5 star hotel. An old villa converted into a hotel quite a long time ago. This is not to say that it is luxurious, but it is very authentic. The villa itself and the restaurant are very beautiful - wonderful interiors, antique furniture, a restaurant with panoramic windows and good service. This is all great. However, the room itself was renovated quite a long time ago, it cannot be said that it is cozy, and not at all like in the picture. I had a garden suite. Two rustic rooms on the ground floor. At 7 am the gardener started working, so it was impossible to sleep. The room was quite cold, it took a day for it to warm up enough. The ventilation and heating systems are no longer modern. The location is remote. Nearby there is a small village where there is a pizzeria and a couple of cafes. There is nothing to do here without a car, but if you have one, it is quite convenient to move around the entire region.
