Location

The town of Mogliano Veneto is 7 km from Mestre-Marghera and 10 km from the centre of Venice. This town is a must for those who want to visit the ancient Venetian villas and the summer residence of the 'Republica Serenissima'. Their magnificent parks can be admired whilst travelling along the S.S. 13 road, known as the Terraglio, which connects Mogliano Veneto to Venice, which is half an hour's drive from the country house. The beach in Jesolo is approximately 41 km from the city hotel, Treviso is a 20-minute drive, and Venice-Marco Polo airport is around 15 km away.

    A large and beautiful historic villa with a large park.The Classic room was OK in size, but the bathroom was extremely small and the toilet bowl is positioned in such a way that a taller than average person has difficulty fitting in.The room was a bit worn, but still OK.I have also stayed there in the Junior Suite and it is a significantly larger room, but I liked the terrace in the Classic room.A good-sized pool that was also suitable for swimming and the pool also has a very deep part.It seems that customers who are not staying at the hotel can also come to the pool and that is why it is quite crowded.Breakfast with a good selection, but a few years ago the selection was richer. It must be said that in every hotel where we had a repeat visit, the breakfast selection has become a little smaller compared to previous years.A good dinner in the hotel restaurant.There is enough parking.The pool was closed in the morning due to the felling of a tree in the garden, but this was not announced in advance and it ruined our plans, as we had the choice of either going on an early morning excursion or staying at the hotel and being in the hotel pool and we chose the pool. So we missed out on both the excursion and the pool.

    We only stayed here one night before we flew from Venice back home, and were very impressed with the beautifulgrounds. Pool was gorgeous, but was unavailable at 5 PM for swimming because they were doing chlorine addition. The pond at the back of the property is full of green algae, and we heard there were mosquitoes back there. Our room was absolutely huge, with a nice view of the front of the property, and a really big bathroom. It was very hard getting into the tub, The floor of the tub was “bouncy” and slick, and the shower was hard to work. Loved all the bathroom amenities. Dinner was very good, but breakfast had some stale cakes, and the staff was decidedly unfriendly.

    This is not your typical 5 star hotel. An old villa converted into a hotel quite a long time ago. This is not to say that it is luxurious, but it is very authentic. The villa itself and the restaurant are very beautiful - wonderful interiors, antique furniture, a restaurant with panoramic windows and good service. This is all great. However, the room itself was renovated quite a long time ago, it cannot be said that it is cozy, and not at all like in the picture. I had a garden suite. Two rustic rooms on the ground floor. At 7 am the gardener started working, so it was impossible to sleep. The room was quite cold, it took a day for it to warm up enough. The ventilation and heating systems are no longer modern. The location is remote. Nearby there is a small village where there is a pizzeria and a couple of cafes. There is nothing to do here without a car, but if you have one, it is quite convenient to move around the entire region.

    We had a very pleasant stay with a group of 32 interior architects from Estonia. It´s a beautiful place with very kind staff. Special thanks to bartender Salvatore for keeping up with all our requests until late at night ;) Would recommend this for my friends and family.

    We stayed here in an emergency situation after our flight was delayed for a day. They were able to accommodate 10 of us in four rooms easily.We arrived far earlier than check in but this did not phase them. Nothing was too much trouble, from the receptionist sorting us a complimentary drink each and finding a room for our suitcases, to the lifeguard getting us towels sorted for the pool and the bar staff getting us a football for our Grandson to play football with.Lunch was excellent value for money, high quality snacks and large portion sizes.Rooms were clean and well furnished. Lots of little extras included slippers, dressing gowns, biscuits, shaving kits and toothbrush sets as well as traditional toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We could not fault anything about our visit.
