Location

    I stayed here with my two teenage sons for four nights for a futsal tournament. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Dinner was tasty but limited choice especially for younger kids in our group. Beds were comfortable and rooms nice and clean with complimentary tea, coffee, water etc. The room also had a useful small fridge. The slight downside was the room temperature in the bedroom which was so hot despite turning now the thermostat thankfully you can open the windows. There’s free parking which was great for the hire car. Teenagers enjoyed the pool table. Located close to the airport and it’s really cheap and easy to get into Venice for day trips using the local train line or bus. Handy shopping centre also close by with variety of eating choices and supermarkets. Cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful.

    I love the hotel vibes. The room was cozy & clean. Bed was comfy. The hotel looked fairly new. The only flaw of the hotel was on their savory options of the breakfast. The chicken sausage was super salty. It ruined everything. However, their pastries were good enough to salvage the saltiness of the savory breakfast.

    Voco is an excellent location for visiting Venice. Our group of six took a Celebrity Cruise from Ravenna. Our rooms were modern, clean and good size. A meal plan for breakfast buffet and dinner had excellent food and large portions although the menu did not change. A patio is adjacent to a nice bar with fair prices. The front desk and all staff were very helpful. They offered tools from maintenance to repair a mobility scooter and secured a taxi to take six people, 12 bags and the scooter to the transportation hub in Venice. Tickets for transportation can be purchased at the front desk. A short walk to the 8E bus stop and transfer to the T1 tram to Venice cost 3 euros roundtrip and takes about half hour. Taxi from VCE airport cost 35 euros. A substantial retail mall is within walking distance. The business center on the second floor had a computer and printer readily available.Special shoutout to Constantine who is a waiter in the DR. Great representative of the hotel and wealth of info.     We visited Venice for a few days and accomodated at Voco for the reason not to drag the luggage after us through the tight streets. The hotel itself is not as perfect as in the pictures, rather old and needs reparations. But it compensates with the very kind staff allover the hotel and the various breakfast. Keep in mind that the comute takes a hour. You have to take a bus from a station near the hotel to Center Mestre then wait for a certain tram and then arrive in Venice. If it rains you kinda must take a taxi which costs 35 euro. The kids loved the lobby with the pool table and pinball.
