Great Location, Great Staff

My wife and I stayed three nights at this Bestwestern de Capuleti. We reached out beforehand for information to get from the train station to the hotel. Sara, the front desk clerk responded quickly with awesome, easy to follow directions ( bus 11, 12, or 13 in front of the train station, usually platform B 1 and go one stop past Piazza Bra). We found the hotel in no time and found a cart with pastries, juice, and water for customers to enjoy every afternoon. Sara efficiently checked us in and gave us more information about getting around the town, the bus routes, and what sights to see. The location of the hotel is on a quiet street 12 minute walk to the Arena area. Our room was a bit cramped, but the bathroom was good size.There was also ample closet space. We also had a nice patio; however, we couldn’t use it much due to the heat. The breakfast was awesome. The staff were friendly and kept the hot and cold choices well stocked. It was included due to our Diamond Select status. It was a great way to start each day. I believe it costs 12 Euros pp if it’s not in your room rate.We were prepared to take the bus to the train station and then on to the airport. Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain. We were looking at taking an Uber. It was quoting 60 Euros at the time due to high demand. Fortunately, Sara came to the rescue again, calling us a taxi which only cost 27.10 Euros. The taxi arrive in two minutes and whisked us comfortably out to the airport. All in all, we would come back to this hotel. Great value hotel in a location just outside the city walls and within reasonable walking distance of Piazza Bra and Piazza delle Erbe. Room was clean and well-presented. We were at the rear and had a small balcony with a view over neighbouring streets. There was no noise from outside, although some noise from neighbouring rooms could occasionally be heard due to the relatively thin walls. Perfect hotel

So pleased we chose this hotel. It was perfect for us. The location was spot on. Quiet and peaceful and a short stroll to the centre, with bars and restaurants very close by. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming, the breakfast was great value, plentiful with hot and cold choices. Our superior king room was great. Comfortable king size bed, large terrace and great bathroom with excellent shower. The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable, with a gym, sauna, and bar area . Why You Need to Book Your Stay in Verona at This Best Western Plus Hotel

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Verona for a few days as it is only a 7 minute walk into the city centre. With plenty of history and intriguing sights to see along the way. The main bus station and train station is only a 15 walk from this hotel. Easily doable if you only have cabin size suitcases. The bus going to the airport runs every 20 minutes from 6.10 am in the morning and costs less than 10 euros each and it only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. The staff at this hotel are very helpful and bilingual. I would definitely recommend purchasing the breakfast with your stay. Everything is freshly made and you can have up to 3 courses exploring all they have on display. Ideal for husbands that love their food and cost effective as you can last until the early afternoon , before wanting food again. The bed in your room is king size and ultra comfortable, with good quality pillows. Thus you have a good nights sleep each night. The only constructive criticism I have about the room is there is limited cupboard space , thus one of you ends up leaving their clothes in your suitcase. There is no evening meal , but the restaurants are close by and if you just want a salad or sandwich and yoghurt the mini markets close around 9pm in the evening.
