    Poor - save your money and go some where else ...

    The place might not be too bad, however the guests are confronted with a hostile attitude from the owners and staff. This place is clearly all about the money, the owners and staff are newcomers to the business, it shows in their attitude that are not experienced and have no desire to make your stay there an enjoyable one.Beware of these people and do not subject yourself to this hotel - save your money and go some where else.

    We look for the pet friendly hotel in Verona and we find Corte della Rocca Bassa. Before reservation we call in the hotel to ask them if is ok with them to have our 2 small shih tzu dogs in their hotel. They said is not a problem and that was all. We made our reservation. When we arrived in hotel the owner was on register instead to welcome us, from the door she make a huge issue, why we haven't write her a letter for the dogs??? We were total in shock from the fact we just step in and she did a issue about the dogs. Then she gives the room key with thousand of instructions. Then she followed us and told us that the spot where we parked the car is not a parking space. In the room the bath towels were old, gray, and there were spots. The bed sheets were horrible with holes and spots. Disgusting. The next morning she met us at breakfast in cafeteria and she send us outside to eat with the dogs in the cold morning. Then she followed us from a distance to see what we were doing. This was horrible treatment by the owner and we felt like we were in a police office. She to made us feel comfortable and we were treated like a criminals. On the day when we checked out she ran to our hotel room to see if the room was not destroyed. We will never go again there and yes i don't suggest you do not spend your money at this place. You will find nothing but rude treatment.

    Calm small family owned Hotel. In a historique Building they created Nice Rooms ,....... everything needed is in the room.Located on landside approx 25/30 minutes to Go to Verona. You Need a car.Breakfast is good but the bread is typical italian.

    This hotel is beautiful, the grounds, the buildings, the rooms cannot be faulted. The host Marcello was most helpful. The building has been restored with the upmost care and attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable, the room had everything we needed and was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast delicious, coffee was the nicest we had anywhere. The lady making the breakfast very nice too. A short drive to wonderful Verona, easy to find just off the autostrada.We will definitely return, a very beautiful hotel, dog friendly too.

    Very close to the office I need to attend , value for money, neat clean rooms. Hotel is also close to Verona and if someone wish to enjoy open space and is ready to travel 15min to visit the city I would recommend. Front desk is very co operative and has good European breakfast
