  A very unwelcoming hotel.

  This was a really bad hotel for us. The design of the hotel is just strange, awkward layout, weird angles, it just felt uncomfortable. The decor in the rooms was similarly unpleasant, odd art, unwelcoming. The front desk was surly, like they were doing you a favor the whole time. We had a dodgy room key, they offered to come and show me how it worked , like I had never been in a hotel before. The dark bathroom flooded badly when you used the shower, the room was dirty and nasty, one of our rooms had a broken window. As a family we had two rooms on different floors, the key system for operating lifts made it impossible to visit each others room with any ease. We were also staying when there was a conference on, it was noisy and at 11.30pm I had to complain about the volume, I was told it would end soon and to be fair it did. We used room service that night as the conference made the restaurant not an option, room service was basic. The high point was breakfast, it was good and the staff were nice. Parking was available but is was again weirdly complicated and unwelcoming.   Lovely stay in Verona at a very nice hotel. Would stay again if travelling for business.

  Check-in was friendly and welcoming, Room was spotless. Well appointed , comfortable bed, quiet, great facilities as expected from a Crowne plaza. Nice pool and jacuzzi on the top floor. Food & drink – didn’t have breakfast. But had dinner couple of times. Would’ve been more but unfortunately there were very limited options for gluten free. The meals I did have were delicious and the wine was top notch - highly recommend the Lugana , a local white. Service impeccable. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive with great local knowledge. Bar tender was great helping me learn some Italian. Location – more of a business location , there were business conferences happening daily. There wasn’t much to see or do locally so had to go into Verona to eat and drink but the hotel provided a free shuttle bus several times a day so that was great and we used it often.   Very comfortable and cool, nice and clean, nice breakfast

  Hotel is lovely and comfortable, clean with air con, a small pool and gym but perfectly usable, it’s a little out of Verona maybe 10/15 mins but they have a shuttle bus to Verona and train station and a taxi is only €10 back, I would def recommend it.   Acceptable 4* that start to show wear and tear

  The hotel is located across the Fair grounds, 3mns drive to the highway, and 10mns to the city centre . Optimal for business, less for tourism, unless you are with a car, then the huge free parking surrounding it is an additional benefit, as parking a car in Verona is a costly challenge. I have been coming here for the last 15 years or so and always liked it, for it's modern look (back then) and the Spa with a pool on the roof top and the roof top terrace bar in the summer, but the hotel is now showing evident sign of wear and tear in the bedrooms, in 115 the fridge was making a terrible noise I had to be shifted to 815, both were superior rooms, at the end of the corridor. But additionally, room 115 floor was covered with stains at the bathroom doorway, showing a clear lack of attention during cleaning. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful during my stay, but I can only hope for the owners to renew/update the rooms and ensure a better maintenance and higher cleaning standard. With its pool, it is a good 4* otherwise only a modern 3*. I paid 128€ w/o breakfast mid week, while in the center, a brand-new 4* of IHG group was charging 183€ in a historical building. For tourism, the latter would have had my attention, but for 1 night, the CP fiera is a solid hotel, even for tourism if you come by car to Verona.too bad they don't properly focus on room cleaning and keep these up and tight Michele Giubelli, Proprietario at Crowne Plaza Verona - Fiera By IHG, responded to this review Dear Guest,thank you for sharing your experience at our establishment in such detail.
