Wonderful Stay Near Piazza San Marco

A true Venetian experience! Located near Piazza San Marco, this quaint hotel was perfectly situated and within easy reach of everything. The service was impeccable, and the staff were warm and welcoming.The rooms were small and the bathrooms tiny — but that’s Venice! It was all part of the charm. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return.

Not good value our “premium” room for 4 had a queen bed that was rock hard. Kids sofa beds creaked all night and were uncomfortable. Everyone said the pillows were also hard. Our view was of the dumpster next door. And being on the main road was of course noisy. It was clean though that’s why I’m giving 2 stars and not the lowest.

We stayed here for one night either side of our holiday in the Dolomites, choosing the hotel primarily for its convenient location between the city and the station. As a family of three, we experienced two different rooms during our stays, and one night was definitely enough.The rooms are nicely decorated, with attractive furniture and a stylish, modern feel. The best aspect of the hotel, however, is the bathrooms, which were excellent.Unfortunately, the staff weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming. On both occasions, our room had no electricity when we arrived, meaning we had to go back down to reception to have it activated. The system seemed unnecessarily complicated and was quite frustrating after a long journey.Breakfast was okay, with plenty of choice, although the bar area lacked atmosphere and didn’t feel particularly welcoming. If you have a room at the front of the hotel, be aware that it can be quite noisy at night. We also found the beds particularly uncomfortable.Overall, it wasn’t an unpleasant stay and it served its purpose because of the convenient location, but there were too many little things that let it down. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Stayed here before in a premier room. The room offered on this visit was dire, two small windows one blocked by fire escape the other close to drab tall buildings. We asked to change rooms this seemed to give the staff a problem they were not too happy. Eventually they provided us with another after saying no other room was available. The room seemed not to have been used for sometime the floor being dirty!We were not informed that Ferretti hotels had taken this over. Staff fine, breakfast good. Lady running bar and working in dinning room brilliant.Would say after our experience on the whole was down quite a bit from last visit in 2023. This in our view is now a 3 star not 4 star hotel.

Now the Ferrento Hotel Firenze.Good location for station, only 10 mins from Arena, comfy bed but wierd wooden base which you bump/bruise your legs on and effective (not brilliant) soundproofing.Very dated and tired even the staff seemed fed up.The bathroom flooded when we had a shower and had to get it mopped up.Air conditioning noisy and operated from reception.Drap and pretty awful. Probably worst place we've stayed in years.
