    Big hotel on edge of city centre

    Big business hotel on the outskirts of Verona.Straight forward walk of about 20 minutes to town.Rooms nice but dated. Breakfast was good. Evening meal was OK and the service a lot to be desired. Eat out if you can or room service was ok. Overall for our group tour it was fine.

    I loved my stay so much. The staff are super friendly, room was big, clean, bed super comfortable, gorgeous view of the sunrise in the mornings. Breakfast was perfect and had different cakes and regional cheeses each day which is a nice touch. Precious on the breakfast desk was especially lovely, she has such bright energy.Location is also great, it's about a 15 minute walk into the city so it's quiet and peaceful. Also a 10 minute walk to the train/bus station, so easy to get around.Only downside was that the gym doesn't have free weights and it was hard to do a full workout just on the machines. I stayed five nights and I wish it was more!! Will definitely come back if I visit Verona again. :)

    I genuinely do not understand how this hotel has 4 stars. The entire place feels very old and outdated, and the rooms were nowhere near the standard advertised. The biggest issue was the “air conditioning,” which turned out not to exist in our rooms. It was hot, dusty, and stuffy on arrival. Because the hotel is so close to a busy road, opening the window meant constant traffic noise all night. So the choice was basically: sleep in an oven or sleep in a bus lane.We were eventually moved to rooms on the quieter side after I complained through the Booking chat. The interaction at the reception about the switch was unfriendly and unpleasant.There were also several smaller issues that added up: only one usable power socket in the room unless you unplugged the TV, none conveniently near the bed; old bathroom fittings, with leaking taps in one of our two rooms; and on the third day, both of our key cards suddenly stopped working and had to be reset at reception.Overall, this hotel was poor value for money: outdated, uncomfortable, and misleadingly advertised.

    I stayed for two nights over the Easter weekend. I didn't book it myself so can't comment on the value for money (it was booked for me as part of a package). Very convenient for the train station, and only about 30 minutes walk to the old city.The bar prices are reasonable, and I really enjoyed the breakfast! Everything you could want really.My room was comfortable, possibly slightly warm but I didn't try to operate the air con, just opened the window as much as possible. I found the shower difficult to work. The reception staff were helpful.
