    Good location, clean and great value

    We arrived at the hotel and the check in was easy and all our questions were answered. We left our luggage as we had arrived at 11AM and headed out to explore. The hotel location was fabulous - the Arena and Christmas market was 5 minutes walk and even the Roman theatre was less than 15 minutes walk away. When we got back in the afternoon we collected our key and crossed the road to our room - the Rooms seem a lot quieter than the hotel as they are in a side street with less road noise. The room was warm and had good wifi and plenty of space . Breakfast at the hotel was decent and there were plenty of option and efficient staff. Downsides were the luggage area had no security so anyone could have collected our bag, something I am always paranoid about! Also the plug sockets in the room were very limited, no sockets near the desk and one actually on the bed headboard which meant you couldn't use it when you were in bed.Overall though a good hotel in a great location and good value for money.

    This hotel is located on one of the main roads into the old town and easily accessible from the train/bus station and airport.We arrived around 10:30 am but were unable to check in until 2pm but we left our luggage with the hotel and started our journey into the city.We returned later in the afternoon and were allocated a room which only had a very small window and we considered unsuitable for a weeks stay.We took the matter up with the reception and had a room on the front allocated to us which overlooked the main road. The staff assisted us to move our luggage.The room was pleasant and had a well equipped shower room and good wardrobe space.There was a selection of pillows and addition bedding if required.Breakfast was in a pleasant dinning room with plenty of choice to eat.The hotel was clean and tidy and the bedroom was serviced and cleaned daily to a good standard.A good three star hotel in an excellent location with good staff

    Nice Hotel With Amazing Location

    Hotel Mastino is located right on the gates of the Verona Old Town. The room had safety and a lot of mirrors, which was a very nice addition. The WiFi of the hotel worked very well, and there was good air conditioning.The breakfast was basic good; all of our travel group could find something to eat. However, the shower had water pressure, and it did not always work very well.

    Great location close to Piazza Bra. Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Reasonable value for money. This is a bit subjective, but I found that during the evening there was some noise from the main road outside. I guess it depends on where you room is located.
