    Really nice hotel with friendly staff.Not too far away from the train/ bus station,apx 10-15 min walk on relatively flat surface, okay for suitcases.Rooms are a good size and we had a balcony too, not that there’s much to look at.Area felt safe and only 10 min walk to the centre. Lots of restaurants & cafes on route.

    Location: Excellent location, 10-12 minute walk to Piazza Bra/ Arena and similar distance to the Castelvecchio. Plenty of amenities nearby including a local supermarket (PAM) about 2 min walk from the hotel, opposite to a Gelataria, and close to restaurants and bars. Staff: All friendly and professionalRoom: On the fourth floor, much larger than expected, clean with plenty of white fluffy towels. Air conditioning was very helpful with the warm weather. Much better than anticipated, Would highly recommend

    Hotel Siena is in a great location for the price. Approx. 10 minutes walk from the Arena and Porta Nuova so handy for buses to both Verona airport (7 euros each way) and Lake Garda (11 euros for an all day ticket). Although only rated as a 2 star hotel, it had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Our bedroom had ample space, beds were made up as two singles instead of one double upon request via email prior to our arrival, we had a balcony, the toiletries in the bathroom smelled lovely and high quality, the area was very quiet at night so no noise to disturb sleep. A kettle would have been nice, but there is a machine near reception dispensing hot drinks for only 60 cents. Staff were always pleasant upon check in/out and when leaving our key when not in the hotel which guests are asked to do. We weren't advised on check in that we would need to pay a city tax on check out, but it wasn't a problem as only 2 euros per person per night, although something to bear in mind if running short of cash. We didn't book breakfast but there's a Pam convenience store near the hotel where we bought pastries and juice very cheaply. There are also several restaurants near the hotel and many more in Piazza Bra which is easily walkable.

    It's a budget hotel and it's quite straight up about that, but it does offer enough for a perfectly pleasant stay. The room is a bit dated, but it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Wifi was reliable. The sockets in the room were not suitable for my adapter, but reception happily provided me with one that did, so no problem. The breakfast (buffet style) was basic, but fresh and more than acceptable. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the railway station and 15 minutes walk from the Arena and Old Town. Receptionists were unfailingly helpful and spoke excellent English, even if they protested that they didn't!
