Warm welcome at reception, very nice room, everything in order. Restaurant was a welcome surprise, fair prices with regional specialties.

Bad choice of hotel for a leisure trip
24 Oct 2025
I feel bad leaving this review, because the receptionist who greeted me (and checked me out) was lovely. However, this hotel was a mistake. It is out of town, which I knew when booking. But I didn’t realise just how bad this location is. An AC HOTEL by Marriott should never be in a location like this. The hotel was out in what seemed like a super industrial estate. There were no paths around, so get around the area you had to walk on the road. There were no restaurants or any amenities around the hotel, and its restaurant was “open” but was really closed. It was weird, lights off but I could order from an extremely limited menu.I ordered a pizza with a side of french fries. I was asked if I would like the French fries at the same time as the pizza… I said yes. They then served me the pizza with the French fries on it. They found this funny. I did not.If you just need a head in a bed, and you’re driving, then this will do. If not, it won’t.

Dear Mr. David,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to read that your stay did not fully meet your expectations, even though we appreciate your kind words about our front desk staff. We understand your comments regarding the location. While the hotel is situated in a quiet business area, this position also offers several advantages — we are just a short distance from the Exhibition Centre, conveniently close to the motorway, and only about 10 minutes by car from the city center. In addition, there are three restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.I don’t know if you had the chance to express your doubts to our front desk and ask for some more insight about the area. Regarding our restaurant service, we regret any inconvenience caused. During weekends, when occupancy is usually low, in order to avoid waste and keep using fresh ingredients, we offer a smaller à la carte menu with a limited but carefully selected choice of dishes. We also sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding about the pizza with French fries. We are sorry that our waiter did not explain more clearly; in Italy, pizza topped with fries is quite a common and popular choice, and certainly no one intended to make fun of the situation. We truly appreciate your feedback, which helps us to improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and offer you a more pleasant experience in the future.Kind Regards,Maela PeruffoGeneral Manager

Perfect hotel

For business in Vicenza. I spent three nights. I wish AC Marriott would have these standards in the U.S. The breakfast buffet is simply outstanding. The hotel restaurant, for dinner, is superb. No need to go out to look for a place where to eat.Awesome property.

Another good AC in Italy
04 Jun 2024
Another good AC in Italy - attractive rates, clean, free (and enough) parking, rooms have all you need for a short stay and friendly helpful staff. On a side note - AC hotels have become a trigger for us to go see placse in Italy - such as Vicenza. The only thing (also common to all AC in Italy we know): houskeeping tends to be rather loud in, for our taste, too early hours on weekend days.
