Outstanding Hospitality During the CSA 50th Annual Conference
08 Jun 2026
I recently spent seven days at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel while attending the Caribbean Studies Association's 50th Annual Conference, and I had an excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. Special thanks to Loretta, Yolanda, the entire Front Desk team, and the Security team, who were always pleasant, attentive, responsive, and professional. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made a real difference throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were wonderful. I enjoyed the pool area, which provided a great space to relax between conference activities, and the Spa team deserves a special mention for helping me unwind after long days of meetings, presentations, and events. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring that rooms and common areas remained clean and comfortable throughout the week. The food was another highlight. The banquet meals and conference catering were delicious, well-prepared, and consistently enjoyable. What stood out most was the professionalism of the staff during unexpected challenges, including the power outage that affected parts of the island during our stay. The team remained calm, helpful, and committed to providing excellent service despite the circumstances. The Jamaica Pegasus was a fantastic host venue for such an important conference. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality and for helping make the CSA's 50th Anniversary Conference a memorable success.I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to both business and leisure travelers. Saran Hutchinson, Other at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, responded to this review Dear Sashane S, we truly appreciate your feedback and are sincerely thrilled that you had such a great experience staying with us during the week of your annual conference. A lovely time at the Pegasus. Great Food. Friendly and supportive staff.
07 Jun 2026
The Pegasus remains the best hotel in Kingston for any large business gathering. I stayed there for a week for the CSA Conference and the service was excellent. I could see how hard the staff worked at all levels to make us comfortable and to cater to our needs. Some of my colleagues stayed at the sister hotel, Courtleigh, and the team really came out strong. I also enjoyed the food - really lovely rice and peas! and the 24 hour Cafe at the front of Pegasus was such a joy and delight. Best Oatmeal cookies ever! I will definitely be back for Business and some pleasure! Saran Hutchinson, Other at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, responded to this review Dear Internationalr502, thank you for your feedback. We were very happy to host your group and are glad that you enjoyed your experiences with us. We are glad you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay and felt the delight that our team tries to deliver in taking care of all our guests. We are definitely looking forward to seeing you back here again soon.Kind regards, Saran HutchinsonSenior Operations Manager
