Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers, this resort lies in Montego Bay, right by the sea.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 272 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a currency exchange service, medical assistance, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, a conference room and a lounge. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Services include a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Rooms include a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and include a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.

Sport

The outdoor area features 7 pools. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Parasols and comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball and basketball. With water skiing, windsurfing, paddle boating, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, table tennis and billiards. A sauna and steam bath are available in the wellness area. The complex offers an entertainment programme for adults.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café, a bar, a pub and a piano bar. Catering is provided by buffet and à-la-carte restaurants (air-conditioned and non-smoking). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offer many delicious options. Special meals, including vegetarian dishes, are also available. The resort also offers snacks. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Traveling to Montego Bay make sure to do all your traveling in Jamaica via Nexustours. They provided the best experience and professional service with an employee name Roxy while at the Ibero Resort. When my wife and I travel again we will be seeking doing business with Nexustours again. Highly recommended.

    Amazing resort, but please respect local beach rights

    The resort looks beautiful, but I was concerned about the limited access to the beach for local communities. While the sand and sea are technically public, in practice security and private property make it very difficult for non-guests to use the beach.I hope Sandals considers ways to open access and support local communities, because tourism and social responsibility should go hand in hand. This would make the resort experience even more respectful and positive for everyone.

    We did butler service and found it to be quite annoying more than helpful. Too many phone calls, and the morning we checked out you would’ve thought there was an emergency from the non-stop repeated calls. They also hounded us for a tip. Food selection was good with many options. Steakhouse was disappointing. Gym was great! Other reviewers state the airplane traffic is disruptive, which is true. But, they’ve made it fun where everyone drinks each time a plane crosses over! Entertainment was above average. All the bars in the resort were pretty fun at night. Overall for the price point. I would skip the extra cost for the butler and I think it’s reasonably priced for what is included. A nice 3+/4-star hotel. If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for, probably not your spot.     Best honeymoon EVER!! Would 100% recommend.

    We visited for our honeymoon it was amazing. We were here from October 18-22 and it was the first time out of the country for both my husband and I. Our first night we spent at latitudes with Shea where we talked for hours and shared stories this is where we knew this trip would be memorable. Then the other nights we spent with Dane at the piano bar where we met some really cool people and Dane definitely kept the vibe up. Amazing resort we can’t recommend it enough. All the staff from arrival to departure were so kind and helpful. Everywhere we went staff were asking what we needed were so attentive to each guest. The environment is just great, we cannot wait to come back and visit.
