Location

The hotel is situated at the beginning of the ‘Hip Strip’ zone, at the corner of Kent Avenue and Sunset Boulevard. Nightclubs, restaurants, bars and duty free shops can all be found close by in the centre. Additionally, Doctor’s Cave and Cornwall Beach are only a few minutes’ stroll away. Donald Sangster International Airport is just 1.5 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 30 single rooms and 35 double rooms located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The resort offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests of the complex can enjoy various recreational facilities, including the garden, during their stay. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A fax machine is on hand for guests' business and communication needs.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

Whether sporty and active or in need of a more restful kind of holiday, guests will find the perfect place to leave everyday life behind in the pool complex, which includes 2 indoor and outdoor pools. There are children's pools as well. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. The resort offers a variety of outdoor sports, including tennis. For a fee, guests can also enjoy golf and horse riding. Sports options available to guests include billiards or, for a fee, a gym. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Half board can be booked. Breakfast, lunch and a dinner à la carte delight guests with culinary treats and a wide variety of dishes. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options.

A lot of resorts and the one beach venue are being rebuilt due to the storm. You sit on the beach and watched the planes land. There was tiny crabs popping in and out of the sand. There is a restaurant /bar at end of the block.SafetyThere was security on the property.WalkabilityOn and off the property , everything was in walking distance. Plenty of sidewalk to walk on.     Great place location is close to the airport but also feels far away it’s at quite spot on the end of the hip strip. Nice simple rooms a lot of bang for your buck. What really stands out is the staff everyone is super nice from the front desk to security. Eversingle yardman that walked by me said hello or goodmorning or somthing nice a cool place for a real Jamaican experience.

    A more budget hotel, but accommodation and grounds were good. It's situated literally around the corner from the 'hip strip', Drs Cave less than 10 min walk away, has parking, and 3 pools. The hotel itself is a little tired, but it has everything you need, and adequate for a few days and not off the beaten track. Carlene one of the Managers was very helpful. Be great if they provided a kettle (or gave option) as mainly centred on the American market with coffee percolators in rooms. Was not too impressed with the hotel taxi/transfer - as a tiny car and he was late. But overall a nice stay and in the heart of everything.

    This was my husband and me first time staying at Toby's Resort in Montego Bay. Our experience was a great one, we were extremely pleased with the service. We checked in on Sunday 3/1/2026 and was met by a super pleasant associate by the name of Tradeshia (I am sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly.) Dealing with her gave us a relaxed and welcoming feeling. She was very helpful, pleasant and polite. The 2 managers that we communicated with were Exceptional! Allicin and Charlene caused us to say "Yes"to returning to Toby's ☺️🥰. Thank you ladies for your help in making our visit a wonderful visit.We went to their restaurant everyday we were there and met the absolute Best server! His name is Worrel. We LOVE! Worrel. He served us Sunday straight through to Wednesday, but he was off on our last day. He is Amazing! Extremely professional, kind and attentive. Oh my goodness, what excellent service he gave. We plan on returning in July and hope to see all of the Wonderful employees that we encountered on this our first visit. We are Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton members, so we were wondering how is this place going to be. Well, they did not disappoint. The room was clean, they supplied everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and the hotel is a safe place to stay.I agree that the furniture in the room needs to be upgraded, but if that's my only complaint, then I have no reason to complain. Our housekeeper Juliet provided us with excellent service. Our room was cleaned every day. Need a place to stay? Please consider Toby's Resort, it is clean and safe. If you are like us, staying in certain hotels is not our cup of tea. But! Toby's did not disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

    Great stay in Montego Bay. Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, beaches but quiet at night. AC was cold and hot water was hot. We stayed in a few different areas and hotels on our trip, and Toby's had the most comfortable beds of any hotel we stayed in Jamaica.
