A Bit of Old but Great Location

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is located at a great location for whose who love shopping - very close to an outlet mall on foot and just a few train stations away for a normal shopping mall (you could even reach the mall about 30 mins on foot). On top of that, the Disney Resort is just a few stations away.Also, I recommend the cafe on the of the hotel, where you can enjoy the great ocean view and tasty sweets.Slightly aged but recommend this hotel in the area.

Opened in 1993, this luxury hotel is located in Makuhari, Chiba Prefecture. It is directly managed by the Hotel New Otani in Tokyo. It is one of the Tokyo Disney Resort Good Neighbor Hotels and Makuhari Messe Official Hotels, with excellent facilities and gourmet restaurants, and is located about a 5-minute walk from the South Exit of JR East's Kaihin-Makuhari Station, just a short distance from Makuhari's overseas.

Poor service experience, My wallet was stolen in the room, hotel manager don't want take the responsible, they even don't want assisting me to call the police and help to translate with me and police, Very disappointed for a 4-star hotel...

Better places to stay nearby

We had requested a certain room for the view. The male receptionist was adamant that was not possible so we took the room offered. The view of the bay was partially obscured by the taller hotel in front. We returned to reception and asked for a room 3-4 rooms down and reluctantly they gave us this room. All was now perfect. Better view for the same type of room we had paid for. (Superior double with bay view) Our 1st experience wasn’t that good because of this. Breakfast had a good choice but was the same every day. Try and eat in the higher breakfast room as the food was dry and congealed in the lower one (on day2). All in all. Would we stay again? No! There are plenty of other hotels around (including the next door one with shops/eateries).

Very bad hotel

Unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel. A guy name Nakamizu was in the reception are he refused that I see a supervisor or a manager. He said that he has all these positions himself. We told him we were tired from long flight and checking in for a conference. He refused that we do an early check in and asked for extra charge. They seriously do not care about guests comfort they only care about money. I’m very regretful about my decision tp stay in this hotel.
