    Breakfast is a big win.

    rating10 Jul 2026

I spent two nights sightseeing. It is located close to Katamachi, although it is slightly far from Fukui Station on foot. But downtown Katamachi is on the opposite side of the road, and the hotel has the feeling of being on the border between downtown and residential areas, so the night zones are quiet and empty. The hotel itself looks a bit old, but I had no problem using it.The slightly older-looking hotel worked for the better, and the benefits stood out in terms of public baths, good front desk availability and bicycle rental. The wide variety of breakfast buffets was a big hit. This is the first time that there was a mekabu on the buffet menu.It was used in the early GW period, including weekdays, but it was exceptionally cheap at just under 7,000 yen including tax. ?? ??, ???? at Az Inn Fukui, responded to this review ????????????????????????????????????????????!??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????(????)????????7,000??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??? There is a room that makes strange noises.

    rating27 May 2024

I entered the designated room. I don't know what it is, but I can hear a sound like a motor or water flowing. I thought it was temporary, so I worked for a while, but the sound still bothers me. When I contacted the front desk on the internal line, they said, "I see, it will stop soon." That means they know that this room makes some kind of noise. I asked them to change the room, and they immediately brought me the key to another room and said, "You can move without permission," and "Bring the key to your current room to the front desk." I'm a little confused. I can hear some strange noises in the room I was moved to. I put up with it because they changed it once, but I don't think I'll use this place again. ?? ??, ???? at Az Inn Fukui, responded to this review ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Good base for Fukui Prefecture

    rating08 Nov 2017

Fukui branch of Ace Inn is located about a mile from the station. It was a typical claustrophobic Japanese business hotel but perfectly adequate for our one night stay. Wi-fi signal was good and check-in/check-out was efficient.

    Nice hotel, nice stay

    rating17 Aug 2012

I stayed at the ACE Inn during my June visit to Fukui. The hotel was very nice… clean and quiet. The room -- a single -- was small (by American standards) which I presume is typical for Japanese business class hotels, but was fine for my 4 nights alone. There was a small desk and stool, and it was fine for doing some evening work. There was no separate couch or chair… basically a bed, a desk and a TV. Bathroom was clean. Small, but spotless. Not much else to say about it…One comment – the bed was fine but I did not find the pillow very comfortable. I didn’t worry about asking, but maybe they had softer “American style” pillows available. The hotel does offer a traditional Japanese bath --- I never tried it out.I ate at the small restaurant next door for several breakfasts and dinner. I preferred the Japanese breakfast over the American breakfast they offered….neither was bad, I just figured I was in Japan, I should eat *their* food! All in all, a very good stay.
