Good location with temple shrine and supermarket

Booked a two bed bedroom and they accommodated my request of corner room. The reception speaks English and no issue communicating. The hotel has parking on site but expensive in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and shower water was strong. The room also came with massage chair. They provided two bottles of water and fresh change of towels daily as long as request was before 10am check out time. The room was spacious with two double beds in my opinion and I was able to open up two large suitcases easily. Hotel was very close to subway, a supermarket, shrine and temple. Taxi was inexpensive at less than 2000 yen to airport.

Worst hotel I've ever tried staying at in Japan. It's a shame on the focus on customer service that Japan is known for. Daiwa Roynet management should be ashamed of this location. BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING you may be arranged a smoking room even if you booked a non smoking one. When I arrived and realized I would only have a smoking room I asked and verbally received confirmation that the booking could be refunded. However, they reneged on their word and didn't grant the refund only after I had left the property and needed to book another hotel last minute. This is one of the WORST experiences I had staying at a hotel anywhere in the world because these people LIED to me. We actually ended staying at another Daiwa Roynet across the street which was much better. STAY AWAY from this location unless you don't mind paying more for a non smoking room but only being offered a smoking one. SHAME!!!!

Excellent stay next to Gion subway station

I would recommend this hotel due to a number of factors. First the twin room we booked was very spacious with comfortable beds. The level of service from the front desk team is outstanding. Thank you. And the location is very central. Lastly the QPR of this hotel is very good considering the cost of other hotels in Hakata.

We're staying at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hakata-Gion, which offers seamless access directly from Fukuoka Airport, with no need to stop at Hakata Station. The train goes straight to Gion Station, just a short walk from the hotel, adding to the convenience for travellers. The hotel feels more spacious than many others, and we're enjoying the added comfort of a queen-sized bed. Plus, Hakata Station is only a 15-minute walk away, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.The staff has been very welcoming, and we appreciate the thoughtful amenities, such as the complimentary toiletries and high-speed Wi-Fi. The room is well-equipped, offering a perfect blend of functionality and relaxation.We also love the convenience of having a Yayoiken restaurant next door for a quick meal and a Family Mart store just across the street for snacks or essentials. The quiet surroundings ensure a restful night.Overall, our stay has been very pleasant, and we're excited to explore more of Fukuoka with this hotel as our base. Highly recommended for travellers seeking convenience, comfort, and great service!

Smokey Room but Great Staff

The room had a really strong smell of smoke. We talked to the manager and allowed us to move to another room.The staff and management is very friendly and accommodating. Ms. Hata-San was very helpful during our checkout process. Overall, I would recommend this hotel but ensure non-smoking rooms are available, especially if you are a non-smoker.
