Recommend from The Poor Traveller (TPT), almost perfect but….

Excellent 4-star hotel, about a 7 min walk to Hakata Sta. Great variety of breakfast; food offerings alternate every other day. TV channel lineup mostly Japanese local channels. No international cable. Hotel has 4 coin laundry machines that has both washer and dryer feature (¥500). If you want your clothes to dry properly be prepared to spend more time (¥100/30min) for the dryer part. We had to do our laundry on the late evening/early morning hours so we don’t compete much with other customers. We had to take out one star away from being perfect because of the coin laundry: it’ll be better laundry experience to have separate washer and dryer machines for hotel guests.k

Happy to return

This is our second visit to the Blossom Hakata Premier. Both times, we stayed on the Hakata Floor and booked directly via the hotel website (Hakata Premium Twin Room). Communication with the hotel was easy, quick and pleasant in English and we received the same room we stayed in the first time. Check-in was quick and easy as well. The room is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and very large. It is also perfectly insulated, you do not hear a thing from your neighbours or from the hallway.Breakfast at the Nine Doors Restaurant on the second floor is offered buffet style with a nice variation of food and drinks. The Hakata lounge is a great place to relax and grab a coffee or a drink. There is a good selection of local drinks offered. The hotel is well located, close to Hakata station as well as to Kushida Shrine station of the Nanakuma line, which we used a lot during our second stay. This time we stayed for four nights and there is a reduced cleaning service offered (full cleaning of the room every third night), change of towels and waste disposal daily, which we found to be perfectly acceptable. We note that prices have gone up somewhat since our last stay in May 2024, but it still provides good value for money (given the size of the room, its perfect condition and the lounge access).

Nice stay

Nice hotel in a decent location. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room was a decent size. They had a tiny fitness room with one treadmill, an elliptical machine and a bike. On the second floor was a nice sushi restaurant and there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

Good location & overall experience

More spacious rooms than the average Japan rooms (you know what I mean). Check-in and out were a breeze. Location is near Canal city and walkable to Hakata JR station. Overall, I had a good experience staying at this hotel.

Great location and clean

Spacious clean room. Wonderful bathroom that will feel like a personal spa. Great soaking tub. I enjoyed the onsen but make sure you pay attention and go in to side for your gender as there may be an awkward situation. The hotel was in a great location and we will return for sure.
