This hotel was nice and clean and very conveniently located to everything. We stayed here for three nights and it was comfortable. The only thing to note is that since the hotel can get busy, the elevators can be full so if you need to leave at a certain time give yourself some extra time for the elevators.

Best hotel location in Susukino area at Sapporo
09 Mar 2024
We spent our winter holidsy and stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. It is a huge hotel with numerous numbers of rooms and located in the heart of Susukino area. I highly recommend room to be in higher floor for a nice view to see snow rainfall. A typical small japanese room clean and tidy. It is also very close to Susukino station for two minutes walk and to see the snow festival at Susukino street. There is one supermarket offering reasonable prices for food and grocery. We will definitely come back to this hotel on our next winter holiday.

The once luxurious hotel has gone through many years and has been restored to new condition, but it is still a bit old. First-class customer service, the room is larger than the average Japanese hotel, but unfortunately it still feels a bit shabby. The location is excellent, at the end of Susukino area, just a few minutes walk to Tanukikoji, right next to the Nikka billboard. The price is very cheap, so it is a good choice if you want to stay in a large hotel without spending too much.

Perfect location

Pros: The hotel is very close to Susukino station, Odori station and other attractions. The price is reasonable (value of money). Cons: We stayed 5 nights there before we went to ski resort and 4 nights after we came back from the ski resort. Breakfast menu is not changed at all during our stay (total 9 days).

Conveniently located for getting around Sapporo
04 Aug 2023
My daughter and I used this hotel as a base while we spent a few days exploring Sapporo. It is very conveniently located for getting around being a short walk from the nearest metro station and tram stop. We arrived after travelling for nearly 24 hrs, so we were grateful it was easy to get to and find. The staff that we intereacted with were friendly and helpful, although it should be noted their level of English varied. We expected and understood this, as we have travelled in Japan before but I thought I should mention it as I know some western travellers can find this a surprise. The room is typical of a business hotel style in Japan, and was fine for the two of us, however neither of us are the largest of people. We had enough for our two large suitcases but only one could be laid out at a time, again not a problem, just letting people know. The exterior of the hotel is currently being done up, so our external window was 'frosted' and we couldn't see out. The bathroom is typically bijoux and the toilet flush was loud and long, again just for reference. We found the beds and pillows pretty comfortable and there was very little noise during 'dark' hours. We didn't opt to have the breakfast buffet, so cannot comment on that, however there are a huge selection of places to eat and get food within a short wlaking distance.Would be happy to stay here again if I was in Sapporo.
