I stayed her for 8 nights as was moving my daughter to Kobe. The location is fantastic as you can walk to so many places and the train station is only a 15-minute walk. They also have a shuttle that takes you to specific train stations or you can get at the station, which we did when we returned from Kobe. It's located on the Kobe Harbour with amazing views. Be sure to get a room on the upper floors with the harbor view. The hotel has a lot of amenities including restaurants, bar, and a small family mart. I only ate at Camellia once before it was closed for remodeling. The food was fine but felt it was a little overpriced considering you can walk to so many restaurants. We ate there as just wanted a quiet place without walking. Then one evening I went to the Emerald Restaurant/Bar. The food and drinks were good but also overpriced. However, I felt out of place and uncomfortable as I was sitting at the bar by myself and didn't feel welcomed by the bartender. I'm not sure because I was a women sitting at a bar by myself which is probably not customary or what the issue was. I ate quick and left and didn't return. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable although the pillows could've been better. I really enjoyed the space and the table with the chairs by the big window to sit and enjoy the view. They have all the amenities you need including the sleepwear. They have free laundry which I appreciated it and no need to get laundry detergent as it's in the washer. It's a combo washer and dryer. It takes a long time to dry your clothes so I learned to put in small load, less then recommended but still took two times to dry the clothes. But I loved the convenience of being able to wash, head to the room, or head out. You have an app so it tells you when the washer/dryer is available and how much time you have left. They have luggage transfer which I used to send luggage to my final destination. The staff were all very nice. I'm heading back at the end of June to connect with my daughter and will be staying here again. I enjoyed my stay and the location.

Free shuttle service to Sannomiya station
26 Feb 2026
It a nice hotel. The entrance is very grand with its high ceiling and spacious interior. The rooms is big and spacious although dated. Toiletries are provided and the towels are soft and fluffy. The bed is nice and firm. Free shuttle service from Sannomiya station makes it very convenient because hotel is situated away from the shopping belt. That said, within the hotel itself, theirs is a number of restaurants and a mini family mart, and a few shops selling clothes and jewellery and others. The Sauna and bath in the hotel is chargeable.

Very professional and helpful staff

This is a modern, luxurious hotel with spacious rooms with all amenities. There is a great bar and a lovely restaurant. It's close to the waterfront, for a walk. The service is great. We had a minor emergency, and staff reacted quickly and efficiently, with a great degree of professionalism and empathy. When we thanked the general manager and mentioned the two staff involved, the reply was that "this is what we do".

Great hotel on beautiful Kobe waterfront
24 Oct 2025
Huge hotel on the waterfront at Kobe - amazing views! Very clean and spacious rooms, staff very helpful and efficient. Family Mart downstairs in hotel which is very well equipped and open 24 hours. Room service was excellent though a little expensive. A bit of a walk to the closest train stations and the centre of Kobe but the hotel does offer a shuttle service. The waterfront area is fantastic with great eating options, kids areas (Ferris wheel, arcade games etc) and Harborland is nearby and great for shopping.

0 star rating, worst hotel

Had one of our worse experience. Overall not welcoming of tourist regardless of where you are from. We were clarifying with the hotel reception staff on how to operate the parking system and whether they could arrange for hotel transfer, the staff was impatient, didn’t want to help, rolled his eyes at us and continued looking at his screen. We feedback to the manager who essentially just “thank” us for the feedback. No apology, no follow up. Absolutely unacceptable and distasteful.
