    The hotel was good. The staff were very nice and easy. The rooms were good and comfy. The hotel is very easy as there is a money exchanger kiosk there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying on the bay side of Yokohama.

    We needed a place close to the harbor as we were getting on a boat the next morning. This place definitely fit that bill, being right on the harbor. We got and upgrade to floor 20 (room 2016), with a balcony overlooking the harbor. Unlike our previous hotels in Haneda and Osaka, this room was huge by comparison. The bathroom is also a lot bigger than we had previously experienced. When checking in, they mentioned the minibar was free. That piqued my interest until I opened the door and found two cans of beer and two cans of juice. Oh well, can’t have everything. There is a small amusement park right near the base of the hotel, which did produce a fair amount of noise (for a Monday night), but it stopped completely at some point in the evening. Room had decent A/C, but leaving the balcony door open worked just as well. There was coffee in the room (these interesting little filter packets). No english channels on the TV, but you could catch the NHK sumo world championships, which was cool. Buffet breakfast was pretty good, somewhat limited western options, and plenty of local options. You won’t go hungry. There is a sizeable mall just next door, with a ton of dining options. Everything from ramen to wagyu, depending on your preference. While not cheap, it did tick all the boxes we needed, and we would stay here again. Recommended

    A great location to explore Yokohama

    I recommend this hotel as an ideal base to visit Yokohama, it sits close to all attractions, restaurants and shopping.I would suggest a sea view on a higher floor, and a suite if you want to treat yourselves.We had a small issue with a fellow guest during our stay but Hiroshi Okuba front reception was very kind and efficient in solving our concerns.

    We were happy with our four nights stay at The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu before our cruise to Vancouver. Good location close to the bay, clean and good service. Hotel is connected to shopping mall with many small restaurants for meals.

    A five-star hotel that truly deserves its reputation for its location, amenities, and the spaciousness and attention to detail of the rooms. The view from the windows overlooking the bay is breathtaking. The breakfast room offers a buffet that's hard to beat for its quantity and quality.
