  Nice stay within walking distance to teramachi streetLocated along same street as Daimuru street so since the walk back is 15 minsBut along the way have alot of restuarant n minimart, and mrt is 5min walk.Cheapest parking beside hotel allows multiple entries and exit.Need lobby reservaton for parking

  I am travelling with my wife and a 1 yr old kid....I had booked this hotel for one night and added one more night due to some change of plans....these guys asked me to check out at 11 AM and said that they will be givingn new room at 2PM...so no room for 3 hours yet i paid for 2 nights...i have never seen such inconsideration and stupidity anywhere in the world....no courtesy or good hospitality, staff is just working like robots without any emotions or humanity....

  Central, Comfortable, and Free Matcha!

  This hotel is located in the middle of Kyoto about a 8 minute walk from the subway line that will connect you to to Kyoto Station. The hotel lobby is located on the 2nd floor which you can get to from 2 small sized elevators on the main floor where the hotel restaurant is located. The main floor is also host to the laundry facility (approx. JPY 400 to wash, JPY 100 to dry for 10 or 20 mins). Since we arrived early for check-in we were able to leave our bags in the hotel lobby while we explored the variety of restaurant options along the street. Bags are kept tied together and monitored by the front desk staff. The lobby is nicely decorated and vending machines, washrooms, and rooms for persons requiring additional accessibility are located down the hallway from the desk. I am not likely the first to mention the free coffee/matcha tea latte dispenser which had the best matcha latte of my entire trip - sweet and creamy!Our room was larger than expected and featured a closet space, a desk, a fridge and drink corner shelf area, a kettle, and a slightly larger sized unit bath. The beds were comfortable and had two pillows each. Sheets and duvets were clean and lovely. This was our favourite room out of the 5 accommodations we stayed in during our trip as it was the most comfortable in terms of sleep and space; we easily had enough space to have both our suitcases open and accessible. The only issue we encountered during our 3 night stay was waiting for the elevators. As previously mentioned there are only 2 and they are quite small for such a tall hotel. It will also stop on the 2nd/hotel lobby floor regardless of whether you are going there or not. Every. Single. Time. To add to this is the surge of guests waiting on each floor to leave the building. Did I mention there are no stairs for regular use? We found this a bit painful but otherwise we enjoyed our overall stay. Hopefully the hotel will remedy this by allowing access to the emergency staircases or implementing a new elevator system in the future.

  Good location, let down by staff and breakfast

  I stayed here for 4 nights as part of an Exoticca tour. The room was much larger than those in Tokyo. The hotel is conveniently located for the subway, walking to town as well as getting taxis. I think that's where the positives end. Breakfast is shambolic. The staff hang around doing very little other than gossip to one another. The plates are something like those you'd get in prison, much like the food. I gave up after the first day and just had cereal with yoghurt and the tinned fruit. Hot food was left uncovered and the scrambled eggs were weirdly lumpy. As for toast/pastries, these were supplied with margarine (isn't that carcinogenic?) and jam portions you'd need to be an engineer to open. The coffee tasted like lukewarm ditch water. One morning I was in a rush to leave and the staff stopped me to tell me to clear my table myself!! I'm the paying guest, God forbid I interrupt your important gossiping so you can do the job you're paid for.Worst still, one of them was still wearing her blue gloves in the lift, not very sanitary. Talking of lifts, it stops on F2 every.single.time. It's so annoying as you don't need reception each time you arrive or leave.There is a coffee machine and a vending machine (just soft drinks, no snacks) just off reception. It's OK as a 3 star hotel, just let down by staff and food.

  The location is good and the WiFi is very fast and easy to use, but on the other hand I can’t say the same thing about the service. We paid for breakfast and it was canceled, we didn’t get what we paid for so, I would not really recommend this hotel.
