    Experience the local culture in this hotel and they provided TWO different types of breakfast ☀️ Bamboo shoots was fresh ever since I was experiencing it in other countries before and here was NO smelly at all 👍 Location was Great 😊

    We stayed at Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto for 4 nights. We chose it for its proximity to Kyoto Station, just across the street. It proved to be an excellent choice. Coming from Tokyo on the Shinkansen, after a long flight, we didn't need additional transportation to get to our hotel. We took the train or bus from the station every day - to Nara, Silver Pavilion, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Osaka - all we had to do was walk to the Station in the morning. Higashi Hongan-ji Temple is within walking distance from the hotel. We booked a room for 3 adults. The third bed was a divan, but it was ok. It was a bit tight in the room but we were expecting that.The room had everything we needed. There was daily housekeeping.The staff was welcoming and explained everything well.There is a restaurant onsite but we didn't dine there.

    Nice hotel right next to the station. Pyjamas provided and it had a kettle and coffee available. The room didn’t have a safe in the room.

    Stayed in this hotel for three nights.Location is good. railway station , bus stand at walking distance.Shops like lawsons nearby. Shopping malls, shops, eating places at walking distance.Reception staff is very helpful and courteous. . Ice machine, water dispenser available. Breakfast, both Japanese and western, is very good. Room size is good. Twin beds available but size of beds is good..All amenities available in the room.

    The best thing about this hotel is the location, being right across from Kyoto station. Other than that, the hotel is very dated, an actual key is used to open the room door (no room card, just 1 key). What bothered me the most was the black mold in the bathroom (see pics)! The hotel staff spoke very little English so it was difficult to communicate, we just wanted to know the cut off time for luggage transfer and were struggling to find someone who can understand the question (tried to speak to 4-5 different staff at the front desk).
