  Easy and cheap with usual downsides

  If you have a short stay in Kyoto and travel on a Budget, this hotel might be a good pick. The rooms are small but neat, same for the washrooms. Check-In and out is pretty easy and the hotel has a variety of amenities for free wich was surprising. You also have a laundry machine, smooking room and a microwave.The hotel is located pretty near to Nijo Castle in a calm area, about 10 mins from the train station Nijo.There is overall not much space so be ready to have a mess in your room especially if you are not alone. Also, we had some trouble with the smell from the toilets wich was quite unpleasant. With regard to the space in your room, you may experience some inconvenience, especially when there is more than one person in the room. We also deeply regret that the odour has caused discomfort to our guests.
