  The hotel is in an excellent location with 2 train stations and plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Our superior double room was quite small with a small table with 2 chairs, desk area, small fridge, and some hooks to hang some clothes. Large TV with limited channels and none in English. Wifi and air-conditioning worked well. The bathroom was also compact with basic amenities, but the reception area had plenty of amenities you could take for free. No bottled water was provided but the tap water was purified. There are 2 washer and dryers available for a small fee which worked well. The hotel serves breakfast, but we didn’t try it.If you want a good location and don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your room the hotel is definitely worth considering.

  This hotel is quite centric close to main commercial street and walking distance to main sightseeing areas. Note that the hotel entrance is by side corridor of building and lobby is on second floor. Communication was challenging due to limited English knowledge but personnel were always helpful. Varied toiletries were available at the lobby area. Rooms and bathrooms are small. Breakfast location was small at the lobby level. Breakfast had Japanese and western food options. Plenty of tourist information and maps were available at lobby area.   Excellent hotel. Nice clean room with a comfortable bed. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and they made me feel welcome. The laundry room worked nicely and the vending-machines where convenient. The location was perfect for me. A lot of places to eat and shops were just around the corner. Good access both to buses and metro to easily get where I wanted.   Comfortable hotel with convenient location

  Close to Shijo Subway and Karasuma train Station, there is a lift at Exit 1. Plenty of shopping mall and restaurant close to the busy Shijo shopping Street. My twin room is spacious and comfortable, they even provided extension cord as there is no power point beside beds. Breakfast is more than adequate with more than 10 hot dishes along with other cold dishes and bread.
