    Quiet clean hotel with free coffee and tea 24/7

    Quiet well situated hotel next to a Ryubu mall and Kokusai shopping street, close walking distance to monorail or bus stop. The room is small but efficiently designed. Mine featured a small seating area for 2.Downstairs you can request a bathrobe and slippers. Free daily breakfast, a modest spread of western and Japanese breakfast staples. Staff was polite and welcoming. TV only has local channels. In the lobby the coffee and hot water machine are available at all time.Limited seating for breakfast, so it’s better to arrive a bit later to avoid the crowds.

    Close to Kokusai-dori, but away from the noise

    Most people come to Naha city to visit Kokusai-dori and the surrounding area. Comfort Hotel Naha Kencho Mae is just about three blocks from the start of Kokusai-dori. The big advantage to that is that it is quieter than hotels right in that area. I love this location and I’m really impressed with this hotel. I have stayed at probably a dozen Comfort Hotels around the country and this one is by far the best. I checked in with no fuss. Thank you to the gentleman who checked me in for both noticing my status with Choice Hotels, and for knowing that I live in Japan and for treating me as a local in Japanese. I appreciate that. My room on the 8th floor is compact, but really efficient. The booth sitting area concept (like a diner) is really cool. The room is perfect for solo travelers like me, but would be a tight squeeze for a foreign couple I would imagine. The bathroom is also pretty compact. I was impressed with breakfast. The buffet was also the best I’ve seen at a Comfort Hotel. Goya curry, Zouki soba, and sanpincha (Jasmine tea), as well as smoothies and the regular stuff. Local specialties are always a plus. I’m giving this hotel a five. It’s not a five star hotel. It’s a budget hotel. But, I thought the hotel did a great job, so my experience was a five. I wish every Comfort Hotel was this good.

    A good base to explore Naha

    I actually liked this hotel quite a lot. It's a business hotel, so it's nothing fancy, but the room was quite comfortable and spacious enough. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. There was a vending machine on my floor that sold cold beer (always useful when you check in and want to get settled into your room). I had some work to do and the desk was wide enough, the space quite comfortable and the free Internet fast.Apart from that, the location by the Naha Prefectural Office is central. At night I walked to the lively Kokusai Dori area and found a great jazz club, Parker's Mood, with live music. The next day I walked to the opposite direction, to Naha Port.

    The hotel is a simple budget hotel with a very convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the nearest monorail station and International Street. Due to its location there are plenty of options to eat and shop nearby, and the monorail makes it easy to get to both the airport and to attractions in the Naha area.The room itself was basic but it was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, and the provided night-ware was appreciated. The staff were friendly and understood English, and the hotel has a complimentary breakfast buffet which contained a selection of Japanese and western options.

    The hotel is located at walking distance from the public transport station. Also , the convenience store is just located next to the hotel. The room is clean and exactly the same as shown on the website. This hotel is highly recommended since the room fare is reasonable according to the living standard of Japan.
