    Excellent location for the port

    Smart, clean, comfortable, easy check in. Everything you would expect from a Japanese business hotel. The massive plus is the proximity to the port - this is the perfect place to stay if you have an early ferry to the islands the next day, it's right next door.

    The hotel location is very good close to the ferry to few islands,the staff was very nice room was small and nice small super market is very close and excellent jpanis next door “yamashiru”good price excellent food and very nice atmosphere

    Very convenient hotel to catch boats to the islands. However the rooms are quite small and the front desk staff is not very committed for Japan compared with others japanese hotels. Hard to find english-speaking restaurants in the area.

    Though the room is small, it was sufficient for both of us (elderly, above 65 years). Had extended checkout till 1pm and free luggage storage. A plus point is the Level 2 lounge with two computers for free usage, a microwave oven (heating the bento sets from a shop at the port next door) and the dining tables. Complimentary umbrellas also provided when it rained so we could walk to the nearby Monorail station. Very courteous reception staff too. For those who prefer a hotel right next to Station and at Kokusai, try Abest - our more elderly friends did so and were happy with the location.

    This Group will never be in my recommendation.On January 10th I made reservations for 3 nights at this hotel from February 9th. It was to enable my lovely Wife to have a short break after taking excellent care of me during my recent surgery. I had also gathered two other couples from Kanto to join us in the same hotel as they wanted to see my post surgery condition in person.To ensure we will be allocated a non-smoking room as booked, I called Smile Hotel Okinawa Naha the night of February 7th, and hotel confirmed our reservation and the room will be ready for us.However, at 17:30 on February 8th; exactly 8hr and 20min before my flight to Naha, our reservation was bumped to another Smile hotel much farther away and will cause inconvenience to rendezvous with our friends, who are all booked in the same hotel; for meals and sightseeing. Moreover, I am walking with the aid of a walking stick. We explained the situation to the hotel and pleaded not to move us but the reaction was “sorry, hotel is full; take it or cancel”.When I made the January 10th reservation, Smile Hotel Okinawa Naha was not full!
