Small room but comfortable and practical

    rating23 Feb 2024

Although we only stayed for one night, I love everything in this cute but modern hotel. The ratio between the product (both hard and soft) vs price, I think it's unbeatable. The location may be a bit far from downtown Naha, but I think it's not a big compromise. Detailed review follows:1) Location: Not great, but not bad either. It's 10 mins drive (without traffic!) to the airport, so if you're at the end of your vacation and have flight to catch then it's great. However, if you want to do some stuff in Naha, then maybe it's not that great because it's a bit far from downtown (like 15-20 minutes walk), lucky the nearest bus stop is just 2-3 mins walk if you're not into too much walking. Because the hotel is a bit away from the main road, it's very quiet at night.2) Lobby/Reception: The lobby is nice, simple, yet modern. There's a few seating, toilet, also there are some amenities that you can take for free for your stay near the elevator. The staffs at the lobby are super warm and friendly. Check-in process is really smooth and efficient. We manage to get our room key in less than 5 minutes.3) Room: The twin room is small at 18 sqm including the bathroom area. However, the layout is pretty well-thought I'd say. Storage space isn't much, so if you bring plenty of luggage, prepare to be crammed. We only have 2 small luggage so no need much space. The bathroom is cute but practical, love the bottled amenities like handwash, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The room although it's small, the window has a view and you can open it as well if you need fresh air from outside. Bed is surprisingly comfy and light switches are easy to understand. There are PJs and slippers as well that you can use during your stay. 4) Other aspects: we did not try the breakfast so I cannot say much about it. Staffs are nice and helpful, they called us taxi for us to the airport. Also it was raining at that time but they went out and escorted us with umbrella to the taxi. A gesture that I did not expect for a budget hotel (I paid about $40/night with discounted rate from online travel agent). To conclude, other than the location that a bit tricky (although it still depending on what you looking for), you should definitely look no further and book this hotel.

    Simple and easy.

The reception was warm and checking in was super easy. Language was not a problem as they spoke english. The rooms were small, clean and very cosy with basic amenities. It was quite easy to navigate to this hotel and it is quite convenient to get to the station and make your way around using the yui rail.

Great stay at this hotel. Close to a supermarket which I only discovered halfway through the trip; and also close to the monorail which we used to get everywhere. There was a casino close by but we did not have any interest in that. Loved the PJ's provided, they were the best.

For those who are planning a self-drive trip in Okinawa, DON’T take Tissage Hotel Naha by Nest as your choice!!

    rating10 Nov 2019

Last week, I had a family trip in Okinawa and stayed in Tissage Hotel Naha by Nest for 4 days. Because we rent a mpv (minivan) for travelling, we asked the receptionist to reserve a parking space for us for 4 days. We’ve signed in black and white and the parking fee would be paid when we check out. Everting was fine in the first 3 days, but we had a bad experience at the last night. On the 4th night, we drove back and the receptionist told us there was NOT enough space for parking a mpv but a small car. So they led us to park the mpv beside the hostel and requested to keep our car key for moving our car away when someone was blocked. We were confused because: 1. We had already signed for the parking space, it should be reserved for us. But why there was not enough space for parking our car? 2. Why the receptionist has to keep the car key? If there was any accidence happened, who take the responsibility? 3. Also, I’ve tried to compromise that give us a call when they have to move our car. However, the receptionist refused. One thing is important to mention that, the attitude of the receptionists is totally unacceptable. Ms A.KAUSHILA who is a trainee of the hotel, was on duty that night. She kept arguing with us on this car-parking problem. It’s obviously a management problem of them not providing what they’ve promised (even signed in bnw!). But Ms A.KAUSHILA refused to admit the fault. She was not making her effort to make me believe them so that I can left my car key here, but trying to argue with me and insisting she had did nothing wrong. At the end, I decided not to park my car in the hotel and search for the nearby parking space from myself. Also I asked Ms. A.KAUSHILA for a complaint form to complain the service of the hostel and attitude of the staff, she said no complaint form for me. I tried to take a photo of her name tag so I could make follow up complaint but she refused at the first time. At the same time, her colleague ( who was also on duty that night) gave me a unrelated name tag and asked me to complain on this “staff”. Another comment on this hotel is: 1. The hygienic condition here is disappointing. I found there was a blood dot on my blanket and no toiletries on the first night. I ask for a new one for so many times then they finally gave it to me. 2. The room is too small that we can’t opened the luggages. 3. There was no senior on duty when we were seeking for help. Also, the staff CAN’T understand English, not to mention communicate with them. 4. The location was not convenient. Walking to metro station takes around 10 mins.

    right choice

ROOM - two twin rooms on level 9, no pretty view but very nice and modern room. bathroom is huge and very clean with good variety of toiletries provided on top of the generous big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and face wash - the best unit of our 4 nights in okinawaSTAFF - the moment we parked our car in front of the hotel, a female staff was already there with an umbrella and a big smile. all of them of friendly, helpful and polite. they even helped us booked a taxi for departure to airport in the early morning. RESTAURANT - our rooms did not come with breakfast and when we saw the nice little restaurant on level 2 and also the fact that it was too early to get meals elsewhere, we decided to buy their vouchers of 1300 yen each. the buffet spread was good considering the price and i especially loved the mini bread slices .. you have to try them. LOCATION - we selected this hotel because it was near the car rental drop off place. the nearest yui rail station; asahibashi was some 20 minutes walk away and around that area there were lots of restaurants. there were also 2 family marts in the area. nearer to the hotel was a pachinko centre and a food market (supermarket) that opened till 12 midnite. this hotel also practised the closed door after 10pm policy and access was possible via keycard scan or intercom for front desk help. All in all we were very happy with this place and would not hesitate to recommend to others
