  Stayed 1 night at this hotel as we needed to catch an early morning train to the airport. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the JR Tennoji Station and the Haruka 300 building. We got the double room and it's really small. There was not enough space for our luggages. The bed was a little hard and the pillows were thin. Staffs were friendly and attentive.   Excellent location- very reasonable rates

  Loved the location of this hotel, stayed in the Tennoji area before and I find it convenient for Osaka. The room is the small standard business type, but the rear of the building overlooks the zoo and Tennoji Park, which is a nice outlook.There is a bit of train noise from the rail line below, so ask for the other side of this building if you are a very light sleeper. As usual very nice staff, small reception area and an attached GF café that never seemed to be open?   Very good location, second visit to Osaka this year n choose to stay at this hotel again! Many malls around and you can enjoy good food n shopping easily. There are JR and underground stations within 5 mins walking distance.   It is so convenient if you like shopping. It is also located just next to stations (JR or metro), very easy connect to anywhere.   Tiny Smoking room :(

  Only stayed one night. Allocated a tiny smoking room (we are non smokers). It stunk, the walls were yellow and no room to swing a cat. Luckily the window opened (faced a brick wall but let some air in) Redeemed a little by a good location and brilliant breakfast so 3 stars instead of the 1 or 2 I would normally give for an experience like this. If you come from a country where smoking in hotel rooms seems bizarre, make sure you stress that you want non smoking accommodation in Japan! アパホテル天王寺駅前, Clerk : Imamura at APA Hotel Tennoji Ekimae, responded to this review Dear Sir. / Madam.
