  Good hotel in the heart of Osaka

  Very well located hotel, in the middle of Osaka, by the river and the main restaurants and activities areas. And 15min walk from JR Namba station. The room was properly sized and clean, as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly. The only thing is that the bed was not at all comfortable (it was hard) and the air was noisy.

  Good location, and that's about it. It's in Americamura, so there's shopping close by and tons of restaurants. Skaters line the streets starting at around 9:00 pm, so if that bothers you, consider staying at another area. (They're pretty friendly though, even for someone older like me.) The rooms smell of smoke and the walls are so thin you can hear couples in the middle of the night. The price is fairly reasonable and the staff are friendly, but unless you're a smoker, you wouldn't want to stay here longer than a couple of nights. The hotel has free Wi-Fi but it's not that reliable, just like most free Wi-Fi in the country.

  Quite close to Dotonbori which has many delicious food. Approximately 10 minutes walk to JR Namba station. Room (506) is rather small but comfortable. Has everything a hotel suppose to have. Was surprised when lobby staff speak to me in mandarian. Don't think they have any problem with English too. My stay included a free buffet breakfast. Nothing fanciful but quite nice for something free. Wifi was good, no problems streaming youtube videos. Not sure how to use air-con though, doesn't seem to provide cooling.

  Arrow hotel was in a great location close to train station and walking distance to the Dotonbori, plenty of eating places and shopping. The room was very small but clean and serviced every day. Breakfast was western and Japanese we found it satisfying. The staff had little English but were very helpful. The room was on the 6th floor and quiet with a small window.

  We are 3 people and the room is big enough for us. The double full size beds are comfortable. It's even have small little area for sofa in side the room. They provide all basic bathroom kits you need. They have Japanese ropes, green tea, boiling water machine for tea, refrigerator, tv and cabinet to hang clothes. So basically the room is good. The location is good. It's near dotonbori and glico sign only 5 mins walk. Close to train station numba exit 25, shinsaibashi exit 7, and yotsubashi exit 5. All you can walk there. You will probably take either the jr line or bus get off at numba from Kansai airport so remember the exit and how to walk. I attached the picture. Hopefully it can help. I minus 1 star for the all smoking rooms in the hotel. Our first night was uncomfortable but after that we get used to haha. Minus another star for poor English speaking front desk. I think the majority of the guests are Japanese so they don't really get used to communicate in English. We found only 2 people that can really speak and give us recommendations for trains and bus. So don't expect much with them to help you planing the trip.
