    As for our Emion Kyoto review, this hotel was perfect. Extremely helpful desk. Checkout is fantastic: one enters the room key and … it is done! All aspects of the hotel are great from lobby to rooms. And there is as smoking cabin at the lobby.We were extremely satisfied and the location is unique, just a few steps (less than 4 minutes) from Shinsaibashi covered shopping street.

    We were a family of 3 (parents and teenage son) travelling around Japan for just under a month. We took 2 rooms as this somehow worked out at the same price as a family room.The rooms are very, very small - the smallest we experienced during our travels in Japan. Finding space for our cases was a problem we didn't really solve. No public baths. Generally the hotel feels a little tired/old fashioned.The breakfast was primarily catering for Japanese business guests with limited western options - just letting you know (not a criticism).The hotel is located in the business district of Osaka and close to public transport links. It's very easy to get around Osaka - a day trip to Nara was a breeze (and highly recommended!). There is a supermarket in the basement of the office block office opposite. There are a few restaurant options close by but you are better off jumping on a tube to the foody areas.The staff were very helpful and friendly - particularly helping us use the luggage forwarding service (which was such good value and worked so well)We stayed at another Daiwa Roynet hotel in Tokyo where the rooms were larger, the hotel felt much fresher, the breakfast was better, etc, so we were disappointed with this hotel I'm afraid.

    Close to subway station. Located in a business area. Streets not flooded with annoying tourists. Cabs waiting at the front door of the hotel most of the time so it is easy to catch a cab for train station. Plenty of restaurants although not in thousands available within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Room size is adequate, can handle two 29 inches suitcase. Front desk staffs friendly and efficient. A good choice unless you want to stay in the center of shopping and entertainment areas

    ProsNext to Kitahama station. Very convenient. Some shops and restaurants nearby for meals. Quiet area. Room is clean, well organised and beds were comfy. Bathroom is the typical bath tub with open shower room, amazing toilets and ‘free’ toiletries available to take from the lobby. Wifi was fast. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was small was a wide enough choice. ConsNone really. Couldn’t find any recycling bins.

    - Comfortable room and spacious - New decorated - Close to Kitahama subway station (Convenience to airport)- 20 minutes walking distance to Umedaand 30 minutes to Shinasibashi shopping area.- Convenience stores and supermarket nearby Love this hotel of the room space and price compare to other hotels in Osaka. Definitely is our choice to return back stay
