    Atmosphere, when you arrive you need to catch a lift upstairs for the lobby, to me this is not an ideal way to great your guest. Rooms are too small for 2 people in a twin room. Cleanliness is perfect, the cleaners are excellent. Staff are great. Breakfast lacks choice, items not replenished fast enough. Coffee not great.

    Good location and stunning to look at …..Hotel is located near Osaka Station and the metro can be accessed from the hotel via the elevator. Dont be put off about the location as hotels and areas around stations in Japan are very nice and all big stations have shopping centres attached.The room was of a good size for Japanese hotels. There was aircon, tv, small bathroom but all you needed. The restaurant was open for breakfast and it served traditional and western food, all self service. There was also a Japanese restaurant but we didn’t book a table whilst staying.The staff were very helpful but even though we didn’t arrive until after lunch we couldn’t access our room free of charge and had to pay ¥3200 to check in before 3pm.There wasn’t a bar for drinks before going out for dinner which didn’t affect us but it could have been useful.

    The hotel chosen by our tour company.The rooms are very small.The buffet breakfast was OK. WiFi was good.The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Osaka station. There are many restaurants in the area.

    Nice modern hotel just south of Osaka / Umeda Stations

    Nice modern hotel about 12 minutes walk south of Osaka / Umeda Station. Take the escalator up from the street to find the huge lobby that overlooks the dining area. There are some fairy tale style decorations in the lobby, not sure why, but they are cute. The room was a decent sized, my son and I had a twin. Our room rate didn't have breakfast unfortuately. There was a McDonalds nearby though as well as a convenience store. We had a pleasant 4 night stay, we mostly walked up to Osaka Station to head to USJ, Kobe and Wakayama. It was super hot in September, you were allowed to take one bottle of water per day from reception which was great. They also had salt tablets (tasted like Pocari Sweat) to help with mineral replacement, and cold towels. Nice touch!The last night there I asked to send our luggage via Yamoto to our next hotel in Takayama. The reception staff were very helpful. We book a few months ahead and the hotel was well-priced.

    We spent two nights here with extended family. This was a lovely hotel with beautiful views of the city and pink/crystal decor. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet both days which had a great selection of Western and Japanese cuisine. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging taxi transportation to the Shinkansen upon checkout. The location is very pedestrian friendly with many places to explore and eat. There are multiple subway stops nearby; one exits exactly at the hotel. We were able to access the subway and travel to Dotonbori Street without difficulty. The room was quite small - the smallest hotel room we stayed at during our 13-day trip to Japan. It appears that this may have been a business hotel in the past - the room is very simple with two twin beds, nightstand and chair - there is a picture window that has a long shelf for dressing and has a very small TV. It would be nice if the TV were mounted on the wall. We were also informed that the owner of the hotel owns a cosmetics company, yet we found the bathroom amenities to be lack-luster. This was the only hotel that did not have full sized shampoo/soap, and we found that we needed to ask for refills. It was very nice however that pajamas, hairbrush, toothbrush and other amenities were included; but again, the hotel was quite small in comparison to some of the other hotels we have stayed in.We wanted to enjoy a rooftop bar or lounge area but could not locate one in this hotel. Perhaps it is only open on weekends, or was closed at the time of our visit.
