    The hotel was nice and breakfast was ok if you got there early 6am. It was definitely a mid level hotel room on the small end with the typical Japanese hotel bathroom. Not as nice as the Grand PrinceIn Osaka but not as small as the Prince Hotel in Shinjuku.     Nice hotel, can see the grand build in its architecture. It’s located a bit out of town with no much nearby but the views over the city and waterways is amazing, particularly of a night. Staff in the Club Lounge were great. We did suffer a sleepless night as we were next to the elevator, if you sleep lightly request a room further along.     I stayed there alone in February.I traveled from the airport to the hotel by bus, and I took a photo of the bus schedule.If you plan to travel from the hotel back to the airport, I have it for you.On the day I went into the city, the hotel provided a small shuttle van to JR Osaka Station, and it also picked guests up there to return to the hotel.I feel that a hotel's star rating can really be felt through the level of service guests receive. I received a surprisingly warm welcome when I arrived at the hotel. During my journey from the airport, there was a storm and heavy rain.I felt worried that I might not be able to go sightseeing at the bay because of the weather.However, Ms. Kubota Ryoko from the Front Office noticed that something seemed unusual about my mood and demeanor.He came over with concern and said,“Ma’am, you don’t seem quite okay. Are you feeling alright?After I checked in, he kindly took the time to talk with me and check if I was alright.His kindness made me feel much better and eased my worries. I had safely arrived at the hotel, and the sky had already cleared, so I no longer needed to worry. I have never received this kind of service from any hotel in Japan before. This was the first time.It makes you feel truly happy when hotel staff notice changes in your body language and try to help improve your mood when you step into the place they are responsible for taking care of.The breakfast in the restaurant was just as many international guests had described in their reviews.The egg dishes prepared at the hot kitchen were done very well, comparable to those in Western hotels. The omelet was excellent, and the Eggs Benedict had a well-balanced and flavorful sauce.Don’t miss the onsen eggs.The restaurant also has a pancake machine that children seem to love.I also appreciated that the hotel chose to serve fruit jam produced in Osaka

    Great place to stay when visiting Expo 2025

    I chose this hotel because of it proximity to Expo 2025. It is the closest hotel to Expo 2025, which is one subway stop away. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to that subway station or you can take the nearby new tram when the shuttle is not running. They also have a shuttle bus to Osaka station.My room was on the 22nd floor and had a "sunset view". On the table in my room was a pair of binoculars so I can admire the sights. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub and, of course, a heated toilet seat. Breakfast in the World Cafe had a nice variety of items. This restaurant has a different international buffet each month for Expo 2025. I enjoyed the Vietnam buffet on my arrival day and the Korean buffet on my final night at the hotel two weeks later.The view from my room was outstanding. One night, I was able to watch the fireworks at Expo 2025 from my window. Service at the hotel is top notch. I enjoyed my stay very much.
